Well, if you are using mods, I'd suggest deleting all mods, then running check & repair + install additional software. In case that won't fix it, I'd suggest running GameCheck and see if that repairs the game. The 'check & repair', I've noticed, doesn't always do a very good job with the repairing.

Sound like you had a bit of luck, maybe the randomer was wearing the ring of luck, because it usually stays spotted only intermittently. The problem are those cruisers that do a very good job of shielding the CV, and the fact that the Ruan decides to pick up speed towards the end and starts steaming straight towards the enemy DD ambush meaning you don't have much time.

Curious, how did you sink the enemy CV?

I stand corrected and should maybe clarify that having a good CV player is a necessity if you want those 5 stars.

It's pot luck with the teams. At least currently. Still, most operations I play are successfully completed with 3 to 5 stars achieved. With some operations 5 stars are more difficult, and again that largely depends also on the team composition. Having a CV is a necessity for some like Hermes and the Final Frontier. I recommend you drop any and all boosters, just take them as they are, play them stress free and for fun and consider the XP you get as a bonus rather than the main point of playing the operations.

Isn't there the usual 'Pay to Complete' button anywhere? I would have thought WG would not be capable of overlooking such an option.
