The low token count due to RNG makes me so negative about this early access event. It's not the ships so much as the permanent camo missions that make losing out so expensive here. -

I'm thinking of the tokens in particular and how they give us an option to pay doubloons for the missing tokens at what are clearly inflated prices. If you can't grind up fast enough but don't want to see your efforts completely go to waste... pay up. -

True, I was mostly thinking of the PR event, but can't help detecting a more 'stealthy' version of the same format in these later events as well. IMO it's not 'pay to progress' but 'pay not to lose progress' we are talking here. -

This is like getting a Xmas present, having Santa show it to you, let you touch it, try to figure out what it is, let you unwrap the gift and toy with it a little, only to have it taken away unless you pay Santa so you can keep it after Xmas. -

I would also assume the target angle relative to your angle is going to have a huge impact as well. -

Amazingly, I'm still getting mostly pretty crappy results with that... possibly Yamato guns are not very effective against angled targets or I just plain suck at this... -

Depends... given half a chance I actually prefer to fire torpedoes (fishy gifts!) at the Smoke Warrior in question.. always love it when they get a little surprised by it.

Somewhat hard to implement I think. The merits of 'skill based' MM have been pretty much shot down in WoT every step of the way by people who think it will contribute to dumbing down the game, as far as I gathered. I don't necessarily agree, but trying to implement could still lead to problems because, speaking from personal experience, I think my ability to contribute also depends very much on which ship I am currently on and the map itself. That leads me to suspect, that the ability to 'like' and 'dislike' certain maps would lead to better results. -
Just how useful is a radar on a DD? I got the YY but I have it equipped with smoke.
