IMO playing Asashio is a little trickier these days than it used to be. Still possible to do well, but I think a lot more situational even down to where you get to spawn on the maps.

At least for the Roma, you'll never be out of pasta sauce again.

IIRC they have reduced repair costs, but no credit multiplier, roughly the same as the tech tree tier X with permanent camo I think.

Won't help them in trying to turn Tsushima into another chapter of heroic and legendary Russian victories... perhaps if they try to spin something around the idea that the Russians did almost as much damage to their own fleet than the Japanese did....

Hi folks, I'm open to suggestions (apart from what I guess some will say like 'grind it'), how exactly do I go about buying back the Kremlin (and possibly other Soviet BB's leading to it) which I have previously researched and bought, like the Sovietsky Soyuz for one? I've sold these ships and now would be interesting in buying at least some of them back. No, I didn't reset the line for the Research Bureau, I checked that. Currently the game is suggesting I have to regrind my way all the way up to tier X which, clearly, I have no intention of doing especially given that it would give me no RB points.

Yeah, the whole RB thing is a staggering fiasco in my book. The problem for me is, I have to get enough points now to get at least one ship out of it. Another problem is, don't really care for either of those two on offer...

On some maps in particular, and because the blasted rocks ruin gameplay in general, those lines become somewhat blurred. Also, no player is a mind reader, neither the DD firing the torps or the team mate who suddenly makes a 180 degree turn and waltzes into your carefully timed and aimed torpedo spread... OR I might add, the friendly BB who suddenly decides its a good idea to try and cap and failing that ram the enemy BB you were trying to torpedo...

Torpedo alert would surely be very useful to have...

Er... Okay one of the reasons why I said I thought I hadn't done the reset was that the Pyotr Veliky does not show the RB points for first win, just the regular 50%... is that normal?

I didn't have Pyotr, I just unlocked that today.

I've been doing some tier IV battles today with my Gangut (lovely town, been there), and tier IV battles are much more fun, more dynamic, more engaging and have better maps than tier X. You think WeeGee got something wrong about tier X?

No, Ocean is as close as you can get to a game mode which is all about team and individual tactical skill, not 'abuse' of 'interesting' map features or gimmicky mechanics. IMO this game is at its best when two formations clash in battle, and the outcome is decided on the combined effects of skill and luck.
