Containers animation
Karasu_Browarszky replied to The_Stigs_wet_cousin's topic in General Discussion
Also, you don't have to manually open every one of them, as it makes no difference when you open the containers. The only thing you have to do manually is pick them up, unless you are satisfied with the default choice in which case you can let the game collect them automatically every day (wouldn't recommend this though). -
It shows the brilliance of WoWS AI. They are actually learning from human players the Magic of the Magnetic Rocks!

For most online games there's a need for both PvP and PvE modes, I don't see why WoWS should be an exception. This game used to have more varied PvE content in the past as we all know in the form of several operations. We need more operations than we currently have, more varied content both for PvE and PvP.

New shipclass idea.... Auxiliary Ships
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Yosha_AtaIante's topic in General Discussion
I guess that depends on the game though, I know one game where it is not a LOT as there used to be a chronic shortage of healers. I can understand that because everyone would typically blame the healer if things went south and praise the tank and damage dealers if things went smoothly. -
New shipclass idea.... Auxiliary Ships
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Yosha_AtaIante's topic in General Discussion
I like the idea of more varied gameplay, some may also remember that over Xmas I suggested adding convoys of doubloon galleons to the game... Seriously, though, from the forums I've got the impression that for some strange reason most people prefer battles to be as short as possible. So maybe WeeGee should add something like nuclear bot submarines equipped with advanced sonar, wire guided torpedoes and homing missile technology starting from tier 2. I'm sure they could call that historically accurate as they could easily discover such plans from the archives of some 1920's Soviet design bureau. -

Nothing for Japan. -
Hmm... it is better if you know beforehand how much you are going to have to pay rather than having to realize it later on and having to pay more than you had figured, or worse yet, as in the case of the PR, having had to pay up front and risk losing real money. Still, it is difficult to say how far you can go for free here.. it is still possibly you may end up having to pay more than 3500 doubloons for it. The sunk cost would then apply not to money but to effort. Again here, it depends how much you need to go out of your way to try and finish those directives, IMO.

Well, I'm actually enjoying a further penalty of -19% on rotation speed as I'm using the Enhanced Main Battery Guns module. -

WG should reduce Yamato's citadel
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Hades_warrior's topic in General Discussion
I agree, Kremlin is mostly crap except in certain situations, and a lot of that depends if it hits or misses with those guns. In most cases though, while the BB armour schemes are a joke in WoWS, the biggest problem I face in BB's are is usually HE spamming. Not the CV's, not the torpedoes, even though both can be annoying, but they can at least to some measure be dealth with in terms of counter- measures although not completely. There is no defence against HE-spamming... -

Karasu_Browarszky replied to anonym_hiiw5uZtBExP's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, look at the armour schemes of several tier 9-10 cruisers, and you will pretty soon notice that three of in that bunch are very different from the rest, the Puerto Rico, Alaska and Kronshtadt. -

Yes...... it's not like the good old days izzit... Friendly DD's and or/CV should try to ferret out those smoke warriors better. I can somewhat understand how the radar makes the DD's especially reluctant to extend close enough for a reliable torpedo hit, though. I guess that is the cautious, static side of the game coming in. Yes, that seems to be how I remember it being back in the early days. I was never in closed beta, I started in open beta and carried on. I just think somewhere along the line, wrong decisions were made. Whether based on the wrong conclusions or it's some kind of crappy 'markeeetink' kind of decision that's behind it... Likewise. Well, I still try to be my old reckless self though... Yikes! If turning WoWS into WoT is a solution to the problem, I'm much happier with the problem! -
Seattle has catastrophically bad guns IMHO, it's fragile like a flawed eggshell which is why I don't touch the thing.... However... Some people take the Seattle, park it behind some cushy little rock, suitable close to a cap. From there they make use of those crappy guns to lob off HE spam on enemy ships using the cushy little rock for cover. The radar? They don't use it like real combat ships do. Instead they start it up when the enemy DD is trying to cap. Profit!
