Well... on the plus side, with the Ducks you won't really notice the lag, as they are so wobbly by their nature.

Yeah well that's been unreliable for weeks now, at least for me. The game used to load up pretty optimally, but what I now get is minutes of nothing, then the intro music starts.... and I get minutes of that and then any one of three possible outcomes when trying to log in. 1) The music loop goes on and on... 2) The music loop goes on and on and I get a notification that I cannot connect at which point I have to exit game and retry.. 3) I somehow manage to log in. All in all, it takes me several minutes if I can even manage it, and yes, the pings are worse across board than what they used to be. About 70-100 worse than before, typically. BTW, this isn't a WG issue, only WoWS, because I can get into WoT in less than a minute, in like Flint. ... Not... the ship, Flint, obviously.

Aye... there's still a sort of naval game there, but it's buried so deep under all manner of extraneous crap that it's harder and harder to see.... and to play.

You mean if you are playing against bots?

They just wait for you to do that? What else is happening when you are focus firing and engaging one ship in melee?

How do you deal with them?

Depending on what class you are playing, of course. I'm still waiting for the ultimate class to arrive, the submersible flying island.

Well.. I don't frankly remember if you have any use for coal there, haven't been there for a while. What I mostly did was tried out some ships I don't have and 'alternative' captain builds if they made any difference. One interesting aspect of PTS has always been that it pools players from all the regions together.

Public Test Server... I assumed that's what we were talking about.

Well, on the other hand you get all the resources you have on PTS for free.

No offense, but I think I could have used a doctorare that I never have had to answer the poll constructively. Nonetheless, if the idea is to make sure subs will have a nice little corner where we can leave them to play with each other in a friendly, nurturing and safe environment, I'm all for it.

Yeah.. it does sound absurd. Exactly what kind of 'necessary data' do you need for these mods to work?

Each operation has its own pitfalls, like Killer Whale those players who don't want to go to the exit zone. Usually, when the team starts to lose ships or fail simple objectives early on, I know what to expect. Whether I'm the first to sink or not, seems to be less of a factor than some people might think... or maybe that's just why they are thinking it... hmm. However, I've never had any skill issues in operations. I'm not sure if there are classes that either have an inherent weakness or strength in operations though, at least for me, DD's seem more challenging to play especially in situations where you don't have any team backup. Obviously those who think they need to carry harder should play a CV.

I'd be cautious about Slava. I'm something of a sniper BB player, and I don't think I like Slava much, nor play it very much. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong but...
