At least the boxes do have text (XP or price) if you haven't research/bought them. Once you have, the selection itself is pointless for most ships as you typically will want to use the best modules.

Correct, as essentially the Soviet Navy played the second fiddle. I assume they were given a few more bars to play with the coming of the ballistic nuclear submarines, though. It is understandable that there is then, a shortage of the type of ships which cover the 1920s- through to 1950s/60s. I would like to see more of the historical ships, I have great difficulty understanding why paper ships are introduced when there are real historical ships that could be introduced instead. If not for the Soviet line, then at least for those countries that did had them. The Soviet line should have been more of mix of 'refits' and realistic projects than pure paper designs, IMO. Furthermore, real existing ships like the Yamato, should have been the standard by which the other ships should have been balanced, tierwise.

It seems their very interesting history videos are mostly used to hide the fact they are more interested in just raking in money. They also seemed to be interested in making as much profit as they can with the least amount of effort. There seems very little real interest in developing what could and should be the gold standard in online naval wargaming.

WeeGee has learned their lesson from the PR fiasco.... Shouldn't we too?

Not sure if manually setting the FPS cap helps with this, I always do it after patches anyway, feels better.

Shoudln't have disappeared. At least mine is still there. The new ship screen takes some time to get used to. The functionality isn't outrageously bad, though, once you figure out what's changed and how.

Kindly notice most of those ships are creamy Soviet figments, not real ships of the Russian War Fleet.

I guess a lot of that has to do with geography. Russia isn't exactly landlocked, but it dominates the heartland of the Eurasian continent and as such has less need for naval power except for regional and defensive reasons. IIRC there has never been threat from pirates either to Russian trade routes so its a completely different situation when you compare it to say, Britain and the Empire being very very dependent on naval power.

Will if they at least wanted to make it semi-realistic, they should have er... refitted whatever Russian ships they managed to retain and keep those in service for like.. uhm... 50 to 60 years....
