    Z35 in the shop

Minsk can be quite deadly, yes.

Super Container Loot Thread [ topics merged ]

Ah... bummer. Cause there are ships I for sure wouldn't want.

Also, note. It is easier to learn than it is to unlearn. This is why wars often start out with outdated doctrines.
  4. Sure... if we can start celebrating the Battle of Tsushima here, I'm game!
  5. Nor do we have a Navy Day...

But if it is a ship you already got you gotta settle for doubloons instead of credits.

This is the same thing @_Teob_ said earlier. You progress and learn and then the game changes and what you have learned becomes worthless while you still 'progress'.

Well.. nobody is actually paying for a super container, or any of the daily containers.

I would also guess it is not so easy to learn by watching someone. At least not in the sense of learning something that can be applied in other circumstances. For that you would need to understand the 'why' part of the failure. The most effective way of learning is not from just from someone else's success (understanding why they did well), but also from failure (why someone failed). When that analysis is missing, there will be no learning at all.

That is a very interesting question. I can only speak for myself, the frustration in my case may come from two sources. One, they aren't playing this like I'd want people to play a naval wargame. They are playing it more like WoT or... worse, yet... whack-a-mole... I know it's meant to played more like a rock-paper-scissors kind of version of Battleship or something but that is another issue. Two, I can't carry the team to win (except very rarely), and knowing it is a team game that requires a team effort, knowing they would need to focus their tactics and gun fire towards that end, and seeing they don't.... I've seen many winnable battles end in defeat. That is frustrating, especially if you managed to contribute yourself. Less so if your own performance was below mediocre.

The forum has usually told people to... adapt.

IMO it should have. As it is, they are mostly useless because the trade off is rarely worth it.

I'd like to suggest Stalinium Armor Upgrade ...and.... Firefighting Sailors ... meny thanks.

You should then quickly realize that WoWS is a team game, not a single player game. The problem is, most people play it as an online single player game without any idea whatsoever about team tactics. Competence in this sense is not really only about individual player stats, it is about team performance. When you get a team which plays well together, you get good results. And.. vice versa.

    Thankyou WG once again.

Indeed. For this very reason WeeGee provides us with the opportunity to buy many many doubloons to convert your Free XP you can then use to unlock all new lines up to tier 10 instantly. Doubloons buy privilege!

It depends on what you think is incompetence. Risk aversion is a culture related thing, and I see something like that in many battles which often end predictably in a victory for the side that grasped the opportunities the battle afforded. While in RL, I am part of that risk averse crowd (because gambling on the wrong cause of action leads to failure and the resultant punishment for incompetence; much better to wait for the enemy to make a fatal mistake!) but I've tried to learn to play much more aggressively in this game. The problem is.. my teams are often still risk averse....

[Poll] Success of the "Odin" dockyard event...

That probably works. But there are some which require me to play ships I wouldn't normally want to play, especially with any mission in mind. I have also prioritized the European 'Campaign' (which is time gated) over an opportunity to spend thousands of doubloons on a pre-nerfed ship I don't really have any use for. I want to make sure I will finish that by the deadline instead of going 2 days over as I usually manage....

I hope they will fix it soon cause every time I look at swinging dots or swirling swoopy circles I feel like I am being mesmerized.... ... incidentally, anything nice in the premium shop I could spend much much cash on?

I thought the same. Everything is superslow. Loading pages, looking up the notifications that round thing seems to swirl on endlessly...
