Anyone having problems today? Haven't tried to log in to WG game servers yet, but some other game servers don't seem to work. Also major web sites are either completely down or only work intermittently....

Well, the game is not as good as it was in open beta. Of your list, I mostly would agree that HE is a game breaking problem, others are mostly nuisances in my book. I don't mind the overpens and dings as long as everyone is affected, though it seems its more often me rather than the guy shooting at me... Other issues are the one's I and many others have mentioned. Lack of content, lack of operations, lack of new kind of fun and engaging game modes. What 'new' we mostly get is premium ships and scummy forms of monetization.

Germanic languages are all somewhat related. When it comes to English, the closest related language on the continent is Frisian (Scots is closer still). In addition to Dutch and German, there are, of course, also the Nordic languages (Icelandic grammar has supposedly been written in hell...). I'm most familiar with Swedish, and modern Swedish was strongly influenced by Low German which makes it closer to the continental varieties than Old Swedish or Old Norse. On the grammar side though, I think Swedish is the least complicated of the lot.

I'd prefer not to have the whole carousel thing at all. The kind of interface that the tech tree has would be by far the easiest to use for selecting ships.

But English is more difficult a language than what it first seems... She sells seashells by the seashore, The shells she sells are seashells, I'm sure. So if she sells seashells on the seashore, Then I'm sure she sells seashore shells.

I occasionally look at the minimap (yes, really) and I always wonder how differently the ship seems to be angled towards me on the minimap as opposed to my sights... I'm not actually sure which shows the correct angle. As for citadels hits, most of the few I get seem completely accidental.

I'd prefer if everyone was going around naked.

Hmm... what about having ship points to spend on the same way as captain points? ... As for cosmetic stuff, I'm a bit of a purist, but I would welcome some ability to do that. Especially I think the option to have (and only see) historically accurate camos/paintjobs on the ships in battle. I'd like the idea of a national flag, too, or a clan flag. Optionally even in place of the ships' tech tree national flag the same way the national markings can be replaced in WoT.
