Paradoxically enough, we have a ship that looks like that on Tier 7, the Poltava.

I think this would work best if it was known as the 'Random Map' or 'Surprise Islands Map' and just inserted into the regular rotation, same as 'The Ocean', my favourite map of what we now got.

PSA: remember to claim your free daily loot

Just realized, I've actually forgotten to do this for the past few days even though I've logged in daily... -
Slight derailment, apparently the wreck of Karlsruhe has been discovered.

Or.. I wonder if they could have like movable props (rocks). A selection that the map would just place randomly for every match. Would need additional coding to work though. Maps that rotate weekly or bi-weekly would maybe be more practical.

Have you checked the Rushan Wiki? You must have missed the creamy dream ships, I'm sure you will find them somewhere. Legendary ships don't just disappear into thin air like that.

Do you notice the occasional "stuttering" / "hiccups" / "Temporary FPS drops" during the battle in game?

My home town once had a naval base too.. but... seeing how the town is located inland with no connection to sea, it might be a bit.. too underwhelming to include...

I don't seem to see many forumites in battle either... ... except in division with me. What a curious coincidence! -
Would you please fix the servers?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to PeteEarthling's topic in General Discussion
There was a time I used to get that sometimes. Hasn't happened for a while though. Overall, my PC sometimes seems to freeze up, and if that happens during battle... I sometimes come back to see my ship sinking. -

Final nail in the coffin

Good points about operations above IMO! Since we have ships on several tiers, operations should be made available for all those tiers, and they should at least be somewhat tied to relevant historical events. Operation Dynamo was excellent in this regard! Very complex and it showed everyone that the game can handle that level of 'operational complexity'. The current system of repeatable missions that are doable with V-X usually (at least for me) means I will tend to do them with the same, higher tier ships or occasionally with ships that I am grinding. That is not bad per se, because it rewards you for playing the game. However, it leaves out everything below tier V, and is not always sufficiently diverse to 'force' you to play ships beyond your usual 5 to 6 ships. Temporary event missions could be a solution, they however frequently are 'inflexible' in certain ways. I don't think what I'm after is forcing players to play ships they are not comfortable with, it's more to do with giving them a chance to play a wider selection of their available ships. Campaigns have solved this issue pretty well by giving a multiple (sometimes slower) ways of completing the stages. I realize that the margin between 'forcing' and 'allowing' can be a somewhat grey area here. For some of these reasons I will happily engage in the new campaign. Diversity is always welcome! -
Tells you something about my reflexes then...

I've started doing the new campaign. Most welcome, playing tiers 2 and 3 now. I really like those older ships. Getting regularly seal clubbed too. And.. loving it. -
Yes, the one problem with multiplayer games is that time compression isn't an option. In this regard, the scaling kind of makes sense, the problem for me personally, however, tends to be that reaction times are similarly accelerated as well...

But well designed missions would be good for the game. They could device a system of missions which would make the players feel more worthwhile to play varying ships, varying tiers and varying modes. -

They haven't yet figured out how not to blow up their own ship yet... -
I like the idea, but one area where I suspect there would be problems is with mouse controls and gunnery. That sort of mode would require much a much better system of locking on target to be available. In principle

Oh, I remember that thread.. thanks, have to look for it. Just a thought... it would be nice if we had an event specific bonus code thread with an appropriate topic heading to make thinks clearer!

!!!BUG ALERT?!? The Range Indicator has issues...
Karasu_Browarszky replied to JeTBarionIV's topic in General Discussion
Am I mistaken to think, based on the above, the ships are roughly going about twice too fast relative to the shell flight time? That would explain why they are so hard to hit... other ships that is, not mine... -
We have a code thread for this? @OP Cheers, mate!
