Vocoder I think is the technical gimmick used. They've also used one to produce that Cylon Centurion voice saying 'By your command'.

I checked, Starscream was voiced by Christopher Collins (and Cobra Commander in G.I. Joe) who is no longer with us, but Frank Welker who voiced Soundwave still is. Hehe.. 'Old Snake'...

Well yes, well... I woulnd't mind if we had only 8 or 9 tiers, and the top tier would have the WW2 era battleships and the most modern cruisers, destroyers and carriers. You might say the Yamato gets a fantasy treatment in the game, but the ship that the in game Yamato is based on was a real ship, with real service record not just something creamy whipped up at the Lesta Cafeteria... For this collaboration, however, leaving Japan out is a poor choice because...

Hmm.. in a sense it might be hard to see who wants to play them. Not the CV players obviously, and would BB players want to skip BB play and enjoy limited CV functionality?

There are quite a few waves, the bots have the numbers and the speed. There are maybe also too many variables in that scenario for most teams which makes it even harder, and I think the end result can also be down to luck. For the full five stars, a lot of celestial bodies will have to line up perfectly.

Hmm.. the second pic surprised me. That looks quite different from alternate colour which is available on other IJN ships, such as the Musashi. Currently they are selling three camos for the Yamato; the regular one, the Kobayashi one and the Halloween one, the most expensive and the one I'd avoid like plague myself... for sanity's sake. I agree the Kobayashi camo is nice in its own way, stylish but a little too non-historical for me. Having said that, I wouldn't fork out 5k for the regular one either. I got the HSF camo on the Yamato. It's not idea, but it is predominantly grey. The biggest downside is that it switches of the Japanese flag/ensign and replaces it with some HSF one.

I wonder what you mean by 'blue and brown' scheme. The regular permanent camo (which I don't have) I think is either greenish or blue/black or something, depending on which colour scheme you opt for. Also, there are some versions of the 'special' camos, Kobayashi and the... Halloween one.. which appear like regular camos if you have selected to switch off the display of the 'special' camos, however, they appear to be different from how the regular permacamo looks.
