HMS Cheshire. More Cheshire Cheese than Cheshire Cat.

I've never seen them there except that one time.

Why WoWS is not fun anymore

Well, TBH though, while some radar cruisers like the Moskva are actually trying to play a naval game, I'd say most of the radar cruisers like to park themselves behind an island conveniently located near a cap zone... hard to believe the devs might have missed this 'fun and engaging' feature. My pet solution, remove the effing islands from the maps! Wait! There is more! Introduce more varied random weather effects that give more variety of gameplay.

    No Camo

Indeed, only maybe some camo XP bonus, usually no signal flags or fancy stuff. For the record, I should perhaps clarify my earlier statement of 50 battles. Most of those are actually.. defeats.

what happened to Wargaming unified account plans?

Especially when you remember that the better players in WoT are given plenty of opportunities to literally farm gold (some seem to complain they have so much they don't know what to do with it...), WG would definitely want any of that gold flooding into WoWS. See! WG cares about balanced flooding mechanics.

HMS Cheshire. More Cheshire Cheese than Cheshire Cat.

Disappears quickly, leaves a grin on your opponents face.

    No Camo

It will also turn into an economical issue. The more the new players struggle, the lower the player retention rate will become. That means more and more vacant one-armed bandits at Casino Wargaming. Soon the carpets will start to look dirty and threadbare, the winos will move in and start loitering, and the squatters are not far behind on their heels. At some point, they will get rezoned and demolished.

what happened to Wargaming unified account plans?

Yup. Back then we had that unified premium only, I was better able to manage playing both WoT and WoWS side by side, it made better sense. Since then, however, WoT got into a hard tailspin and now WoWS premium makes better sense. Not that I'm gonna spend any more money on that either, after WG marketing and customer relations main focus became pi$$ing off their customer base. I dreamed about going even further, how I could have played ships, or taken my plane to battle and fly a mile high over the two engaging fleets, or taking my tank into that same battle... ee..er... yes there might have been some technical hitch there. However, the EBR tires might have allowed to convert them into amphibian fighting craft and launch surprise attacks against the enemy ships, and shoot down enemy planes with AA.

    Unless it isn't.

Am I the only one who needs to grind 50 battles on just tier 6 alone...

Still, hard to imagine that WG marketing research could go so bloody awfully wrong. They have arguably demonstrated that naval wargame buffs indubitably prefer various pumpkin colours, cathedrals or butt ugly monsters with their posterior sections stuck on their ship funnels over warship grey camos.

    No Camo

I'd have to agree. Most look awful, some look passable. No camo affords you the cleanest look.
  13. Maybe the RNG formula is 'influenced' by the target player WR? Yes, this is.. weird. Why not have an HE shot that lands in the water with a splash causing similar mysterious fires as well.

Is there a statistics about emblems?

There is no technical reason that I see that prevents us displaying both the clan flag or the emblem on the funnel. Will WG ever implement it though, your guess is as good as mine. WoT has moneytized this feature through clam emblems that replace the tank front national emblem on the applicable (about 99%) of the tanks.

Why I didn't get into the game.

Oh, I get it. It lowers the load on the server as they can skip all the boring ballistic calculations...

    No Camo

The most likely explanation is indeed new players rushing up to the higher tiers without having had the time to earn stacks of camos for their ships. Us veteran players likely have old stocks left, I have those basic camos still in abundance. For some reason WG has also limited the opportunities of earning camos. Have no fear, perma camos are here. Almost as if it's all by design...
  17. Yes, let the RNG frustrate both the more skilled and the less skilled players alike and just watch the money poor in...
  18. You think in devious ways, Von.
  19. Random, but it does not suspend the laws of physics as WG random seems to do.

Is there a statistics about emblems?

Uhm.. the European ones are the better looking ones from the whole lot...IMHO. All the others are way too flashy and unrealistic for me to have any sort of naval connotations.

Why I didn't get into the game.

All correct points IMO. I frequently 'have to' make the mistake of even going after a DD with my BB because the cruisers on my team ain't doing their job properly. I wish I could focus on enemy cruisers and BB's, but way too often I have to try and fulfill some bleeding 'Man Friday' role for the team.

    Night time in Port

I've never used the modstation myself, been sometimes tempted. Do you need to download some gigantic package or can you somehow just install individual mods?
  24. Well, it could be overhauled IMO. When it comes to HE and fires my thoughts always turn to what and where can actually catch fire. I'd imagine an external fire on the deck or superstructure to be far less lethal than a fire that manages to break inside the structure or the hull, let alone get near the magazines. So, IMO, RNG isn't the worst aspect of the system currently, it's more down to what can burn, how easily, how serious a threat it can pose and how effective are the counter measures. I don't like how my fire fighters take constant tea breaks. That should remain the privilege of the captain!
