No, that is not what 'sometimes offensive and disparaging' means. It means it has to be used as a direct insult to a person. It does not cover some person feeling 'offended' by another person's percieved sexuality. That is outright discrimination.

Interestingly, apparently some time in the Dark Ages Microsoft tried to ban 'Gay' and some other related words in Xbox usernames but had to backtrack. My guess the ban was verging on discriminatory practice.

Everyone's different, and how they interpret self-expression too. I might not feel inclined to express anything about my sexuality, but I typically express some other aspect of my being. Sexuality is intrinsically a part of every person's being, one aspect among many, and a fairly central one AFAIK.

I did the IP cache thing successfully but without success. The problem persists. Maybe I have to do all the steps including reboot too, but can't do it now. This problem first surfaced maybe 2-3 days ago or so, hasn't gone away despite restarting PC several times. Curiously, AFAIK it is also the only site that is affected.

Does that mean that if something is reported you rely on the report only, or do you apply some specific criteria? The overall criteria we've seen is pretty open to interpretations and I suspect it is fairly subjective who gets offended by what, certainly for the players, but does the same hold true of whoever handles this stuff at your end?

64-bit Firefox, @YabbaCoe the link did not work either, clearing the cache did nothing, Edge not connecting either. Will have to try restarting the browser soon when I get current stuff cleared first. Edge seems actually worse...

Well.. since I get an embarrassing death in nearly every one of my battles, it's hard to remember all of them. However, one particularly embarrassing moment came when I was on a BB (can't remember which one, one of those Legendary Soviet ones, I think) and reversing engines (which I rarely do) while under heavy enemy fire. Bang , my stern hit a friendly ship low on HP which for some reason had sneaked right behind me. I sank him, got hit by torp right at the same time and sunk... I turned pink...

I would like to add that uncle Lenin and uncle Stalin are super wonderful people! Please keep naming ships, guns, planes, tanks, various assortments of goodies after these (and other) wonderful red persons! Long Live the Great October Revolution!

^ This is the recommended answer. Feel free to fire at the enemy from 1st line when there are no friendlies between you or the enemy. Do not fire from 2nd line or further back. Flanking situations are particularly risky, because you may be firing in 'neutral' zone between the enemy and your own team. You may expect the enemy to go there and be hit by your torps. However, it is equally possible one or more of your team mates will also go there. Never fire blindly, check for possibilities, alert your team mates you have fired torps in that direction. The risk of accidental hits is still there, and if you decided to fire and they still hit friendlies, the responsibility is yours. The penalty system is there to encourage you to be more cautious next time. Accidents should be rare, if they aren't. it is an indication of careless play.
