Thanks, again, though. This worries me a bit: I don't actually know how I would even check if there is a middle man somewhere. Firefox isn't giving me a lot of information on the site. Both Firefox and Edge block 'insecure content', are they for some reason treating the site as suspicious?

Nope. At least not aware of it. Firefox tells me the 'connection is not secure' when trying to access the wiki site. Just the 'Automatic Proxy' setting under win 10 settings. IP is Automatic DHCP

Thanks.. but see above. My ISP sometimes does some maintenance and other annoying things, but that doesn't explain why other people are affected as well. So, it can't be down to anything wrong with my ISP, because there are apparently people in Poland as well who are affected. Yet, the fault can't be with WG wiki site either (most likely), as not everyone is affected.

This kind of worries me though: I'm more likely to make a royal mess of this thing, and especially as everything else is working for me, this is not a general breakdown, I'm rather hesitant to do anything too extreme. Thanks, though. I'm just curious how come only some people in some countries are affected, while apparently the overwhelming majority isn't. And why is it just one site AFAIK.

Not sure what you meant by switching the DNS, not exactly the tech wiz here... I restarted the modem, no change there. AFAIK I am using a dynamic IP or something which my ISP assigns me, but not 100% sure.

I have the HSF camo, with luck it might have the same stats as the doubloon permacamo, haven't checked, though. Depends on the grind/pricing, too, but one consideration for a tier X would be any future snowflakes.

Thanks for the suggestion, but my problem seems to be the exact opposite of what they are saying: This is currently the only website I cannot access. Everything else more or less works as accepted apart from an occasional hickup or so. My network is working, both my browsers are working, even WG forums are working, Premium Shop is working (as bloody obviously it would always work), just not the Wargaming wiki site.

Hm... I flushed the firefox cache and the IP cache yesterday to no effect. I haven't actually checked my antivir setting, but I haven't made any changes to them.

I'm hoping when tomorrow comes.... I won't still find myself in WeeGee's 'control group'....

I did actually think about adblocker. I'm not sure if I got that activated on Edge, but I don't seem to any form of adblocker on Firefox. In any case, I did not make any changes in either, and the wiki stopped working regardless.

Yes, that's what Edge says when trying to connect, 'server IP address could not be found'. Firefox just states it cannot connect to https://wiki.wargaming.net/.

Yeah, from my DD's point of view the way it often goes I face an enemy DD fully supported by their team, whereas my team is just standing by and watching.... Nowadays I try to be a lot more careful about trying to go for cap, and despite that I get caught in the act a little too often. I prefer torpedo/stealth builds as a rule, so I try to take advantage of that and spot the enemy DD first, keep visual contact in the hope that my team will sink it. Cap denial is another tactic I use where possible, but I don't like it as much because it is less efficient. To me it is preferable to survive and let the enemy cap, since I can always come back later to take the cap for my team.
