TBH honest, I blow a fuse occasionally... but I always make sure I don't get personal when dishing out my salty feedback... Usually I stick to the courteous approach, though.

Why would I be saying that. What I am saying the ARP Yamato on its own does not trigger that kind of reaction, admittedly only encountered one so far. Or, to be more specific, it does not trigger it from everyone. ^ This.

I'd have to disagree, though I've only seen one ARP in one battle. Nobody said a thing, neither on my team or the opposing one. The ARP Yamato finished 2nd in the results. It is, of course, possible the results as well as the reactions may depend on the player stats....

Hmm... memories are always somewhat subjective, but I think we didn't have sprints in the 'early years'. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Sure, I guess it depends which you value more, your time or your money. I don't really enjoy grinding up, but with the Yamato (and the Japanese tech tree) I was lucky as they were here right from the start.

Yes, but you can just grind your way up to Yamato the regular way. Takes a bit of time, but it is free in terms of money. TBH, the premium ship prices are absurd to begin with...

Could be that, I remember there being at least tier 7 once. I also seem to remember we once had a system where you jumped to a higher tier when reaching the higher ranks.

Even on the forums some have said they like the ship, want it and bought it. I don't see a problem with that as long as they are sure they can afford to invest that much into a pixel ship. Most online games seem to have a certain toxic element, perhaps more so now than say, 20 years ago (10-15 actually). I was playing on a couple of Wolfenstein ET servers fairly regularly back then, and can't remember much if any toxicity. Of course, the population on those servers was smaller and the community tighter than on these mega servers. Still, what I found startling is a story of one of the regular players who was almost always online playing the game. Until he wasn't. Only then did I learn that he'd had some kind of a terminal disease, but had liked the game and the server so much he had wanted to stay online playing the game till the very end. It takes all kinds, and while some are toxic, others are sterling.
