In addition to time lost, it will always cost you credits, that is unavoidable. So, you could argue there is a hidden transaction cost even if it is only in credits. As a result, those who reset lines will need to 'replenish' those lost credits somehow, meaning this system is much less attractive compared to the missions that were in place. I wouldn't recommend using RB points on legendary modules under any circumstances. Against this background, maybe it is a good thing they are mostly crap...

One to two working days for the initial reply, I assume it depends how long the queue is.... Mine is still in progress, so I don't know how soon they will do the rollback and refund. EDIT: make note that I requested a Doubloon refund (in-game goods), not payment refund.

I have a ticket in having requested for Doubloon refund. If the goods are still on the account, a manual refund is an option they offer but it may take some time to process. Otherwise the only option is a rollback and refund. I chose to request rollback and refund regardless, because I want to get this sorted out quickly.

Most of them are crap anyway.

Yeah.. that's one problem, at least this year, the drops can be anywhere from complete disappointment to your heart's desires. Nice if you happen to do well, less so if you draw the short straw. It's not that I think I did extremely badly, overall, but I now get the sense that the drops were somehow.. rigged as pointed out here. What especially leaves me wondering is, did they have different ship lists for the differently priced crates, and had they actually pre-limited, or worse yet, pre-selected the list somehow.... GZ for being lucky, BTW!

Me neither, only know of one castle so far on an island on one of the maps.

I'm not sure how this year was different, but in some way this year was the first time I felt disappointed by the crates I got... so I guess that was it for lootboxes as far as I'm concerned. For me, this is a clear change because in the past few years I've focused my spending on the Santa crates because I've the way I've seen it, they've been good value.

As a rule, I try to spend less. For instance, I will probably not buy premium time in future, but this is mostly as a result of general discontent towards their game development than any specific incident, though I cannot deny that eroding trust can be a general issue. I'm not sure what to make of this years Satan crates... I did get some ships, was able to stock up on signals and some camos, got some doubloons, but ... because of all this alarm raised, I can't feel but wonder if the crates were in deed rigged in some way to make sure I wouldn't get the ships that I actually wanted, instead of every possible ship I'd never have bought anyway... Disappointed... and will probably spend less come next Scummas...
