@Bindolaf_Werebane and me enjoyed a very very close match just now. Either team could have won just as easily. I was unfortunate enough to again try to cap, and was nearly sunk at the beginning by two torp hits (presumably by Smolensk, possibly Gearing). Survived long enough to sink the Gearing and manage a little bit of damage too.

I submitted a ticket, processing it took about two + one days in all, got the refund with rollback as requested. Happy with customer service.

I can't say if I had known about the compensation if I hadn't been following the forum. Possibly Reddit or other channels provided the same info. However, on the plus side. Customer Service did fulfill my refund and rollback request in about 3 days time, which I have to say I think is a reasonable time given the circumstances. The Doubloons were refunded, and the crates from the Premium Shop were also rolled back so and are now in my inventory. Just in time for Weekend! Here I come guys, ready or not!

Actually.. hadn't thought about this..... I wonder what will happen to the Satan crates purchased from the Premium Shop as I did that after the projected roll back date for the Doubloon compensation...

I didn't play yesterday (waiting for my roll back), so @Butterdoll was blessed with my regular team mates.

Just a little note, if we are talking about if 1900 was better than 2020... it is something of a moot point especially when it comes to historically correct ensigns and emblems. If you really need to talk about life in 1900 and Germany, I suggest you compare that against what it was like in other places in 1900 to keep the arguments valid.

Solved, then. Thanks. I'm not very technically inclined... shall we say.... Cloudflare is probably the culprit if you had the same issue. Surprising that it comes and goes like that, and has only a limited scope like that. Originally, I switched to Cloudflare because my regular DNS could not reach WG Wiki for what was several days... Good to know what's causing this for future reference!

Okay... could this be something due to my account being rolled back then?... I could understand that affecting the authentication server but... why premium shop? Scratch that, it's working for me now, both authentication and everything else. My ticket is still 'in progress' so it's not about roll back either. Just can't understand why...... it didn't work for me while it worked for everyone else unless... I will dedicate much more of my time here on the forums to write beautiful words about WG, what a wonderful job they are doing. I will also buy heaps more of their attractively priced bundles and stacks upon stacks of their most generous Satan crates!

Not a paywall, but also not free (if you value your creds), whereas previously they were free (except for the time needed). I'm not actually sure how the change affects getting them timewise, but I suspect regrinding takes a longer time than doing the tier X missions did. Also, people are tempted to use Free XP and/or flags/camos to do the regrind quicker.... so whatever the reasoning, I agree completely that the upgrades won't be worth it.

... rather poorly, though. At least as far as I'm concerned because IMO everything needs to be judged on its own merits (or lack thereof).
