    2 new codes

I don't know if I should cry or laugh...

    2 new codes

Cheers, they worked. Only... there's something fishy about those two codes... can't quite put my finger on what it is about them that unnerves me... EDIT They seem to give some signal flags (7) and three (3) Type 21 camos, that is, if you use OP's two codes and those posted by @Pow_tae_toe. Since there are 11 codes, one goes unaccounted, no idea what that gave, or which it is.

    In-game rare items AUCTION

We already have that. This is more like the WG Sotheby's Edition... just don't bid on anything that says 'Banksy'....

    In-game rare items AUCTION

Some of the camos and flags look interesting... Also, the auction might be the only way left for me to get those ranked season commemorative season flags as I no longer can get them from the ranked seasons themselves...

    How to get the Småland

Given what the reality is, are we actually really wondering why ship balancing is so hard to do.

Had it with rampant toxicity in the game

Just out of curiosity, do you think DD's and cruisers should go where the BB's go, or should the BB's and cruisers trail the DD's wherever they go? Might be a moot point because most times the DD's go to the nearest cap and all other ships to the comfiest rock they can spot. But it's one of those questions that I often ponder in the wee hours of the night...

    How to get the Småland

The Småland is somewhat unique, its strengths and weakness somewhat balance each other out, which means it is not op IMO, but in various situations its strengths and weaknesses come into play differently. I'd say the heal potential is a stronger advantage than the radar. The lack of smoke is a weakness, but I prefer open water so it's less of a factor for me.

I get 'feedback', yes, but it's not always toxic, per se. It's about the attitude more than if it is constructive or not. Like, in my opinion DD's can reliably expect their team to support them against cruisers. If there is no enemy DD in sight, they should focus on the spotted cruisers as a priority, rather than pinging the map 'go spot', useless, especially if I'm trying to defend the cap. It's a better question if trying to defend the cap is the best possible use of team resources or not. I get frustrated, too, which probably says more about overall player skill than my own skills, but I don't get abusive at any give individual, just venting my general frustration. I may sometimes direct a slightly sarcastic observation at one of those combat shirkers, but I don't go for abusive name calling or toxicity. Better players can get toxic too... That is a reasonable expectation. The most annoying thing is noticing how your team mates shirk combat, not trying at all is literally much worse than failing.

    How to get the Småland

Yeah, but that DPM only matters if a) the shots hit the target and b) they hit the right spot, at which point, IMO, Småland is probably not the only DD capable of doing it. Plus, you need to have a slightly less able red team facing you, because you will be spotted for a while even after sinking the enemy DD (assuming there was only one) during which time (and even after) you can be fired at by multiple enemy ships with varying dispersion, rate of fire, and even being hunted by the enemy CV. It's all situational in the end.

    How to get the Småland

When it comes to the DD guns and DD knife fights, in my experience, they can all be OP in a sense, as the potential is there but it can only be utilised by the best DD knife fighters. For poor sods like me, it does not matter that much.

    How to get the Småland

I know I know, but it's only because I won the first battle and started at 100%, working my way down now...

    How to get the Småland

Not so in the wrong hands, I can assure you. So's every other premium ship in the game... you have to ask yourself, at which point on the price range does insanity come into the picture... Yeah, as for the price, you are correct, though. No ship in the game is definitely worth that much money. There's ways of trying to bring the price down, like buying doubloons on discount only, making use of the discounted conversion rate (do we still get that?), and only using the conversion to cover a smaller percentage of the total needed.

    How to get the Småland

I find it hard to believe that people did not more readily avail themselves of the in-game Free XP conversion utility kindly provided by WG with just this sort of situations in mind.

    Operation Ten-go mission?

I sometimes go back to WoT.. though usually I remember pretty quick why I left... Still, it's variety I suppose. Well, these 'events' do give us an excuse to play, it's possible that without the pretext to grind a mission or two, there'd be much fewer people online, myself included.
  19. Karasu_Browarszky

    Operation Ten-go mission?

Sadly, this is just one of those grind fest pretexts we get anyway, not any more fun even if WG glorifies them with references to real historical operations... so not a huge loss in my book.

DD's get strong in the end game, but if you really lost with 4 BB's vs 1 DD, your team really done something very wrong prior to that point. I know one DD can win a battle, I've been there. However, the points count and time is still on your side unless you managed to lose all the caps early enough to the enemy.

    Last resort ships

Dude, don't play on weekends... As for the last resort ships... I really dunno, they've all more or less suffered from power creep and bad meta... DD's are mostly hard work to play, I'd probably go with the Swedish ones, though. I don't go anywhere cruisers for this, except maybe some solid ones like Fiji, or the Italian mid tier ones, or the heavy ones on higher tiers like Kronstadt, maybe. BB's are relaxing, like a summer night's barbique with gnats all over your face... but then I'd probably pick the Musashi, Kongo, or even Roma, and possibly some of the French BB's, they are surprisingly enjoyable.

    How to get the Småland

Okay, cause it's hard to understand how a 2 000 000 Free XP DD could become overly popular. You don't actually see it that often in the randoms, I think. It mostly seems to be matched against another Småland, but I haven't tried to get any numbers on that except I see it very rarely. Well.. if the reason for it's removal is linked to competitive environments, and since they have introduced restrictions, is the removal kind of obsolete then. WG could re-introduce Småland as a coal ship later on, either on her own, or as part of some expansion of the Pan European line up.

Can achievements / medals get some love?

'Teamplayer' would be very hard to get. My suggestion would be 'Rock Hugger'. You'd get a special Rock badge after surviving a battle where you exlusively... hug rocks.

Had it with rampant toxicity in the game

Admittedly haven't played WoT much lately, but AFAIK WoT is the King of Toxicity. Hmm... I'd say that varies. Some are very apt at parking their ships next to comfy rock, a safe place from where to direct the battle. Eee... uhm.... Could be... there's that sort. Funny how low on the roster you find them after the battle, though (right next to me). I played with the chat off for a few days, very relaxing, but kind of limits your communication. On the plus side, if you (and others) know what you are doing, there's much less distraction from the chat, too.
