  1. That's how I usually play WoT. That way I get to spend about 2 mins in the game every few weeks or so. *edit*
  2. I think the missions are the crux of the matter. Before spending a penny on those starter packs, people should carefully go over the missions and decide if they think they have a reasonable chance of pulling it off on time (I hate time gated content myself).
  3. It looks like it is really difficult to make a direct comparison, because so many things vary from Dockyard to Dockyard. Note that it is not just the tier, ship class, or the prices and rewards that change, but also the length in terms of stages. Add to that the varying difficulty levels of the missions themselves and you got one tough nut to crack.

I can explain that! ... they let the promotion go to their head and go all giddy.

I used Opera at one time, the one I will not go anywhere near is Google Snoople Chrome.

    Brutal Cost of Commander Retraining

Perhaps the advisable thing is smart spending, making informed choices. Fortunately, this forum, other online sites and numerous video reviews are free resources that should help us make up our mind. Personally, I've considerably revised my spending on this game due to several well known issues. I'm perfectly happy with this.

    Brutal Cost of Commander Retraining

I know longer move commanders as a rule. The only exception are the special captains.

  9. To each their own, but not everyone can afford to spend that much. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-56762822
  10. Can't really say, kind of lost interest at the thousands separator. TBH, I recommend cherry picking the dockyards and events you actually think are worth you time to pursue. I'm personally not going to bother with this one.

    Where are the daily rewards?

That's the Daily Bundle (of Joy), not the Shipment. Remember how back in the day, daily shipments were the ones that showed up automatically (unless you disabled them) when you logged in. Imagine how awkward that was, I'm hoping they will implement a new system where they place a Daily Shipments button conveniently at the end of some article on the news site. Tip. Don't try to translate that last sentence in Japanese, the point will be lost in translation.

Further game developments: a way to explore?

I could get up to 5 % accuracy too?... Simulation is not the problem, though, it's how you'd handle the time compression and other aspects of 'balanced simplification' in a multiplayer environment. Realism isn't necessarily a fixed setting, it is more of a scalable setting which WG could adjust to fit what we got. Realism can cover aiming/targeting, or it can cover damage mechanics etc. It does not have to manifest itself similarly in all available parameters, as even such games that are known to be 'simulation games' aren't necessarily entirely realistic (as that would probably make them tedious and/or unplayable for about 99% of the market.) Mostly, IMO, realism is to be take as 'realism' of immersion. They could start by dropping those things out that most break the immersion aspect without even touching the core aspects of how the game is played at player end.

Wrong target audience? Bugger... I want the 80's back. Back then the gamers were real gamers.

    haha very funni tweet wgee

Uhm... yes, I did. I was only trying it out on my 'better' ships, Yamato, Musashi and possibly some others, perhaps Thunderer/Conqueror too. IIRC, it produced varying results, sometimes spot on, but most often spectacular misses. Didn't think it was worth 4 pts, frankly. I think part of the problem at extreme ranges is to do with monitor resolutions and/or lag. If the Dead Eye actually does improve dispersion, under those circumstances we will also speaking of more marginal tolerances, and the slightest error in aim due to any factor will have a negative impact on your overall accuracy. Unless you are some Super Unicum with laser guided eye-hand coordination...

Why is this happening ? Why is this even possible?

Must be that the CV's are the most popular class.. and/or they are planning a new mode, The Carrier Battles! I'm so excited! Aren't you all?

    Farewell historical 6x1 203mm Furutaka

@Panocek My trusty source tells me that: "Bei Umbau Ersatz der Hauptartillerie durch neuen Geschütztyp, Verlagerund der Torpedorohre von Haupt- auf Oberdeck, Anbau von Torpedowülsten." Furutaka was built as the first Washington Treaty based heavy cruiser in '22-26 getting a refit in 36-38 (Kako following in 37-39). As far as the historical main armament goes, if I'm reading this right, they went from 6 x 200 mm to 6 x 203 mm, both quick firing. For further details I need to go to the Wikipedia, because my trusty source is a little skimp on the details neglecting to indicate that the catapult was not part of the original armament but added in 1933. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_cruiser_Furutaka The diagrams I have show the original Furutaka with single turrets, and the refitted Kako with twin turrets. Wikipedia confirms that Furutaka was similarly re-armed. @PaP_Mentoles WeeGreedy should not tamper with historical hulls/armament. (I also have the historical Bayern.)

What I can say is that given my natural talent for superior aim, all my ships became super inaccurate with the Dead Eye skill active. I dropped it even during the free respec we had.

    "Enemy DD there!!!" minimap ping?

Yeah, they except DD to do that. It is kind of understandable, especially if there is no CV to do any spotting. However, it is a real pain when you spot for them and they give like zero support when push comes to shove. Then again, by the time they get to sort themselves out of that mess, I'm safely in my next battle....well, safely and 'safely'...

    "Enemy DD there!!!" minimap ping?

OP is right, it's often people neglect to say why they ping, and actually I do that pretty often too while I should make it clear why I'm pinging. I mostly ping due to RDF, or sometimes on spotted enemy ship locations, and sometimes sarcastically, too. It is sometimes incredibly difficult to understand people don't make any use of the minimap, do they got the bloody thing turned off or something....
