BBs are super boring to play, what would you change to make them more fun to play?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to seXikanac's topic in General Discussion
Yes, but most ships have rather pathetic secondaries and most people know not to come close to those that actually have functional secondaries that do something. -

You were in the Tallinn that cut across my bow and I had to maneuver to avoid collision. -

How about letting our BB's not only submerge but surface as well. 'Blow you ballast tanks' or something? It can be boring, because the mechanics are dodgy, the maps are mostly shite, and a lot of time if you want to play you end up yoloing against a well coordinated enemy push. Don't ask me why it is usually the enemy that is well coordinated.... I don't hide behind any frigging rocks, like the immortal and famous Russian admiral Dzhon Pol Dzhons, I intend to go in harm's way with my ship. I don't always get there, because I end up going head to head with the aforementioned well coordinated enemy push, but nonetheless I prefer dynamic, tactical play and seeing battles decided by superior gunnery. Never, usually, happens but that is what I go for nonetheless. -

I spotted the mysterious @SeaWolf7 off my starboard bow just now. Had a nice quick battle after that, my team is still at it, though, so it remains to be seen what the result will be like. -
Isn't the proper technical term 'floater'?

How have you been spending your German tokens??
Karasu_Browarszky replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
We have a choice? I just buy those bundles, not that I get many tokens so maybe been able to get like the first two only. -
What are your thoughts on tier 5 Kirov? we could win through the chain of combat missions
Karasu_Browarszky replied to YILDIRIM39's topic in General Discussion
I stand corrected, I had a slightly false memory regarding her role in the defense of Leningrad. Here is the memorial: https://www.tracesofwar.com/sights/9025/Cruiser-Kirov-Memorial.htm -

Uhm... I wonder how that's possible? Isn't this the ship that had her turret removed? -

A real ship. -
They seem to lag behind, because according to the results my 2nd battle, this time with YY, has not even started yet whereas in reality it ended about 2 mins ago.....
-
This is a little confusing... The Clan results show my Yugumo still in battle (the flashing icon), but my individual results show the battle with no results (-), it may update later, or I have fallen below the 200 XP bar as the battle really didn't go all that well... UPDATE The results for the battle showed up, finally, about 16 minutes late.
-
As a clarification, the ships return from battle, don't they, but the results do not show up under Naval Battles, right? My Yugumo returned to port at 17:18 GMT, nothing shows up yet. Will be interesting to see if it updates itself at any later point... or even if the results are recorded at all.
-
Must be fun and very engaging....

They sometimes update slowly.

wargaming you cant be serious now Balance Changes for old Premium Ships its coming
Karasu_Browarszky replied to KamiKatze_Streamer's topic in General Discussion
Though, most of them are old, broken and power crept rather than overpowered... Understandably, buffing premium ships can be an equally big problem than nerfing them, for the overall game balance. In retrospect, it might have been best if they'd never come up with the concept (existed at least in WoT) that premiums need to be slightly weaker than their tech tree counterparts. They could have just matched the premium ship to a tech tree ship in terms of stats, state that the stats will be dependent on any future changes to the tech tree equivalent, and only given the premium ships economic and QoL benefits. -

Correct, IIRC. We got it free when they changed the tech tree. -
What music do you listen to during your battles?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Kr1gsG4ldr's topic in General Discussion
Usually, I'm just lazy enough to listen to the in game soundtrack. Occasionally, however, I switch to ****You**** (not logged in, because I despise their 'business practices'). Sadly, no one seems to have gone to the trouble of creating a ready playlist of suitable naval themed music, so you have to pick them up as you go along. This is what I would deem most suitable: To balance that off, I can also play this to honour what once was the Real Russia as we fondly like to remember it. TBH, there's a ton of suitable naval marches, songs, soundtracks to choose from, too many to list here. -
"new Adjustment Firing mechanic"/"Superbattleship Event"
Karasu_Browarszky replied to MrWastee's topic in General Discussion
Well, bigger maps would help to balance things out, IMO. This would mean more 'focal points', instead of just one or two as we have now. My ideas are not generally well received by the community here, because many of them refuse to accept that an 'arcade' game could have real life limitations. To put it another way, they refuse to have their in game options limited and being 'relegated' to support category in the battles. I'd have no such problems myself, because in a team game there are know less important combat roles. -

Yeah, I remember the Arms Race. Some liked it, for me it was kind of not so much fun. I don't even like the 'caps' we have, and adding another gimmick that essentially wrecks the 'tactical element' (such as it is) in the game is not exactly something I'd welcome too warmly either. -
