I tried to do a bit of googling. Somewhat surprisingly, the topic did not show up at all. There doesn't seem to be any interest even on the NA server for this. Curious.

Submarines are more cost effective, and when it comes to those with ballistic missiles, far more destructive as well. However, if we hope to avoid an escalation of any conflict into a global thermonuclear war, you have to discount all that and rely on projection of conventional strength. There must also be lots of room on those big carriers for to carry drones on board... Their biggest downside is that they are huge targets, and require extensive defensive screening in three dimensions.

IIRC the PR price during the Scammas Event back then was astronomical if paid full in doubloons, so I think for a ship that it was 'entirely possible' for you to get free, it is astounding to see it also as one of the most expensive ships ever introduced in WoWS. As for the ship, it's major strengths are probably the radar and the AA. IMO the AA can still be pretty strong, whether that makes it worth the price is debatable, of course... #FreePuertoRico

The new ships they churn out.. AKA 'New Content' (xoxoxoxoxo ) are not the problem, they are a distraction that is supposed to make us forget about the various issues in the core game. For the most part, they seem to be doing their job much better in this regard than in battle...

These days they accidentally trip into a lifeboat handily waiting, no swimming needed. But yes, there's several sets of captains we have now, some historical and/or legendary, unique, special, fantasy.... guys from Cybertron... so WG has gotten pretty inclusive already...

The only problematic bit is how the clan tag is displayed on the emblem, and... TB(brutally)H, in a less than elegant way IMO.

What happens, BTW, if you get any of these and later leave the clan?

Realistic would definitely be a step up, or rather a giant leap up over a lot of what we got now, especially for 'paper ships'. Historical and/or realistic camos should always be available for the ships that existed for real. I'm using Modstation mod to 'mitigate' some of the worst aspects of the current camos.

Are we talking about missing data or how you get chucked straight into port without the results screen showing up?

Okay, so the patterns that show up on some photos are either image discolouration or they've used slightly different shades of paint at various times more by accident rather than by design.

This is one of those things that are really really wrong with the game currently, because countering the enemy CV threat should be a priority for everyone, and.... it isn't.
