Could be, but it's not just about skills, IMO, it's about mentality. The better players will be playing against other better players, so will they accept not using signals if the some others keep using them. Is it worth it? Not to me at least. But I don't think it's just about 'one win', it's about getting an edge across the board.

One huge problem I see here is that it does the opposite of levelling the playing field. Most players will probably use signal flags far more selectively from now on (I know I will), but the more competitive/better players will still be using more of them, potentially increasing the performance gap in battle. Not to mention the competitive/desperate players who will start paying more in order to stay competitive (and better) than the rest of the pack.

1-2 signals maybe if they are something that really count, otherwise you will just bleeding your stock whereas you should hold onto them for the battles that matter.

Seems my greatest achievement today was 'bad play' in Grand Battle with my Z-46. At least that is what an unnamed FdG told me when I got sunk after being ambushed by 3 enemy DD's on mid cap being the first on our team to sink, finishing second lowest on the roster after we won. No naming and shaming, but someone did outdo my greatest achievement in that battle by actually finishing last, namely the said unnamed FdG....

The pathetic range is the biggest problem, I'd say. That makes it very vulnerable to HE spam and crossfire.

Can't do the math now cause I don't have any numbers out of a good high tier run. I imagine, though, that the average player would run into loss around 6 signals per battle or so, and the better players around 10 to 12 signals. Not even counting battles that did not go that well, so losses would accumulate over time. Costly.

Tier 2? Most times I just count the minutes... seems even bots are in short supply these days...

Yes, perhaps 'detonation' was not exactly good play, but there should be some signals tied in with having contributed to the battle results. I probably have a ton of unused camos around, it might be a good idea to sell all camos we have no use of to boost our credit reserves. However, that needs a little caution if you want to save those for the missions as I said earlier.

Yeah, well... ... as far as toxicity goes, I just got reported by a couple of [edited] on my so called team for trying to help another DD to cap on one of WG's shitty map design gems again, I got sunk by 4 enemy ships and the 2nd DD soon after. Those arses probably reported him too, who knows. So... I'm only going to play tiers 2-7 in randoms and Ops, tiers 8-10 only in coop or Ops, and I'm only going to get new ships if they are Japanese and can buy them with coupons in Armory, and I will stick to this policy until a) I get to pick The Ocean only; and/or b) I get to see the names of those reporting arseholes so I can blacklist them and never get them on my team again.

Not sure if comparison to Graf Spee is really a recommendation in this game....

Only done the mid tiers. Fiji is (or at least was) good enough to make it worth it, if you like cruisers with AP only.

Curious.. how do you actually lose that much, because of having to buy flags? If so, you'd better boost your credit income by farming more credits by using premium ships with credit flags. Otherwise this feels like yet another scam designed to make people spend more... and more....

Well, we don't know what kind of corporate culture they have, but... something tells me it's more of those sort of companies that run top down like petty dictatorships, rather one where decisions are based on group consensus.
