That sounds like an American corporation, but does the same rotation of board level positions occur in Russian business culture as well? Japan would be at the other extreme of the spectrum, so going west to east, you'd imagine Russia falling somewhere in between USA and Japan.

I rolled a new F2P account, you couldn't imagine how much free candy WG is handing out to new players to get them hooked. Premium time, doubloons, coal, free XP, more premium time, rental premium BB coming up... and this is without any invite code. They want the new players to get used to premium experience as fast as they can. The only downside of this is.... nobody is really playing the low tiers in randoms, so you are restricted to a COOP only experience.

What everyone still needs to decide, is what's going to have to change before they consider opening their wallets. And stick to that decision.

The way regulating usually happens is you will need legislation when the self regulating of the industry in question fails to meet the expectations of the public. The problem here, I think, is that we are talking about entertainment industry vs customers, not about failure of regulation concerning fair competition, industrial relations or anything like that, so it will mostly fall under consumer and child protection. The cynic in me is saying that makes it a somewhat low priority for the powers that be. Seems Belgium has so far been the only country that has taken a 'proactive' stance on these matters.
