TBH I haven't the foggiest any more, it's been a long while. It is somewhat doubtful I had gotten a Kraken that high tier, and IIRC Yamamoto has never commanded my Kitakaze being essentially Nagato /Musashi commander for me.

You are overlooking the captains. Some people *coughs* go for cosmetic content too.

Still, I think people are buying these crates even as we speak, because they grant access to 'special content'. As for devaluing the lower tier premiums, those below tier 5 are essentially worthless in terms of game content.

In which case, they'd be in trouble if they disclosed the odds, because they wouldn't be the real odds.

They are very good at coming up with clever ways to make people spend more. Wish they'd use some of that creativity for the game design part as well...

Easy to miss if you assume everything they put up there is a ploy to get you and your money depart ways.

Hear hear! Because, even if we knew the drop rates, it would still be gambling. Informed gambling, but gambling nonetheless. The only redeeming mechanic you might think is if you could be assured of getting full return for your money per every crate, regardless of what it drops. If you buy a raffle ticket, you could win zip (bad outcome), a holiday (reasonably good outcome), a brand new car (very good outcome) or granny's old bloomers (decidedly not so good outcome). Some would be 'full return' others not. Currently, we don't know the odds, plus many crates are just giving you crap, far removed from the idea of 'full return'. Exactly like here. This is informed gambling, just as if you playing the roulette wheel. Curiously, people still lose at the roulette wheel.... I'd still raise the bull t-flag here, mate. It's hard for me to believe there would be a technical reason barring them from seeing what the drop odds are, and it's even harder for me to believe there is a legal reason in any juristiction barring them from disclosing them.

This is the next battle, the Battle of the Eastern Solomons. The second phase switches back to Japanese destroyers, but it starts with this. For me this is the time to bow out, at least on my alt account because I have no tier 4+ US ships there. Nicely planned, WG. Seems I've been wasting my time... Another note; I no longer no how many tokens you get by completing these missions. It may still be short of the 1750 required for just one captain. Though, if the 2nd part gives you 125 too, it might just be that 1750 at the end. But I won't get there on my alt account.

Okay.. this mission sucks, it's a 'bunker' mission... I try doing it with a DD on tier IV Coop... Suprise! There is a CV on the team... ... Surprise Surprise! It is a bot CV.... ... and it's farming spotting ribbons left right and centre! I tried to come up with a viable tactic, may work as long as most on your team are bots. I find the enemy CV and tail it closely, eventually managing to shoot down 9 planes with my puny AA before the battle ends.

It will be removed because the Misery is not popular enough.

Ouch.. I suggest picking a DD and going straight up against the enemy in hope of getting spotting ribbons. If there is a CV, they often like to attack DD's.. so that is a plus. You might div up with a CV player to make sure there is a CV in the lineup.
