We are also missing a huge number of real RN ships, like HMS Howe (pennant number 32). Since we have the Klas Horn in the game, I'd also personally like to see the Howe.

It can be said ALL of them are overpriced. My personal feelings about the Vanguard are that it is better than its reputation in the game, but would need a little love, buffwise or otherwise. What I especially do not like is that it gets overshadowed by higher tier ships that never existed. Vanguard should have been at least a tier 9 BB, IMO.

I think you are onto something. That's why some of the islands on the maps look like tropical paradise islands.

... plus, HMS Vanguard sadly may not be worth the money you need to pay for her. The 'may' part in my sentence may be debatable.

That might be the only acceptable reason, ships that are sound designwise and could have been build if things had gone differently. The speculative failed designs don't hold any attraction for me either.

Yeah... there's two ways of doing it with a BB. One is the 'gingerly' way, which is somewhat smarter (or less manly...), and effectively means you do it sneakily while making sure noone will see you doing it, bit like sneaking up to the cookie jar to steal a cookie without attracting unwanted (mum's) attention. For the purposes of this game, imagine your mum is on the red team. The other way is the 'manly' approach. You throw caution to the wind, go in with guns blazing (main and secondaries) , hopefully with some friends of the green team to help you out. You don't care if they see you, but beware that your capping may fail, and even if successful you will likely end up using up your BB (or about 90% of your HP's which mounts to the same effect, for all practical purposes, that is) to achieve this worthy goal. If.... it its' worth it, dunno, but at least it can be a lot of fun.

I'd like to point out that if anyone is planning on capping with a BB (doable), they do it very gingerly.

@The_Angry_Admiral what they have been telling you is there's a way to play this game and git gud. It's worth taking all the pointers you can get if that's the route you want to sail. However.... I can tell you something else. The faster you realise that WoWS game mechanics are the absolutely trashiest bottom notch total dimwitted garbage at its worst and adjust: 1) your expectations 2) play style (optional) 3) spending (optional, but if skipping no 2 highly recommended) ... accordingly, the happier you will be. Then of course you'd have to fork out some doubloons if you wanted to change your nic to The_Happy_Admiral but that's also entirely optional....

Okay, so there's a way to do it without blood, gore and violence (and higher PEGI rating). In WoT, the crew apparently gets knocked out, but apparently they don't get killed per se, and leave the destroyed tank unseen and will then watch the battle enjoying refreshements a la Famous Five somewhere off camera. However, any little details you add to WoWS that will show animated crew will tax on the game resources and increase lag, so basically it is still a bad idea to implement strictly from the technical point of view.

We all know how stale WoWS is, so I was really excited to spot a trailer for something that looks so... much much MUCH MORE fun and engaging! SOOO Excited!!!! When do you guys think we get to play this one?

I just hope they'd use half the creativity, and a fraction of the money they pour into these trailers on the game itself.

Yeah.. they LOVE doing that. You have to learn to keep one eye on the enemy, and the other one on your team. They can both potentially be equally dangerous to you!

Hmm... well.. perhaps, if you can't get teamplay out of your team, maybe the next best course is to play with the team. Specifically for a BB, I mean going where your team is going.

TBperfectlyH though, one BB cannot do that. You need teamwork, ideally one or two cruisers with rapid firing guns, a radar, and CV projecting its power if available. The BB will serve as the focal point and will mostly try to tank for the cruisers. The problem is... teamwork/teamplay, and how that usually is sorely lacking in this game.
