Yeah.. LM's are always a tradeoff. I suppose when trying to figure which ones are worth it you need to think how you plan to play the ship in most situations. I usually prefer stealth torping to close quarter fighting, so I assume the longer traverse speed is not that much of a problem.

I see you have an excellent taste but.. if I may offer a slight clarification. WoWS cannot, technically speaking, be going downhill. The correct phrasing would be say the game is foundering. -
I thought that was the Shima LM?

Uhu...

I always wanted to visit Las Vegas but this comes close second. Please find below the optional boring answer. -

I used to run the LM, then I removed it. I might need a little help remembering what lead me to make that decision...

Think I recognize the names, not much else, but thanks. I don't usually watch stand-up comedy at all. I tend to prefer comedy series or sketch shows. -

I have a preference for the dark side of humor and oddball kind of humor. Mostly for the kind that plays on words, misconceptions, stereotypes. In short, I guess, everything that is funny in some off kilter, questionable or inappropriate way. Another way of putting it, stuff that is relevant and you can recognize the point of reference, oftentimes that means that you and the performers share the frame of reference, cultural, social, etc. I've noticed that most new 'talents' fail to produce jokes or other material that lives up to those expectations. Mostly they gravitate toward flat, pointless, forced, bland, or just too weird. They fail to grasp any of the points I outlined above. What happens is... I'm left wondering where the joke was or was that supposed to be funny? I don't think that is how humor is supposed to work. -

They have rich mothers? Cause most of the new stuff (post 1990) is about as fun as watching your laundry dry. Almost, not quite. -
The points count is the tricky one, all the others are pretty self explanatory. I sometimes wonder, if that points mechanism is working right, or if it is working something differently from what I assume. Most annoying are the times when you are like 1 second away of hitting an enemy ships with torps , it's very low on HP's and a single hit with your guns would sink it. And then WG whistles the Game Over.

Always nice to see you here, mate.

The thing is, those of us who've been around for the duration pretty much have an idea what this game could be like, and when we compare that to where WG(mz) been taking it for the past few years already, the trajectories are wide wide apart.

I recommend trying out tiers 4 to 7 and playing those more. The meta is better, ships are better balanced and the battles more fun there.

There's two sides to this coin. Up until now for me, like for many others, Coop has meant a quick way of disposing of certain missions which are far easier to complete in coop than in the randoms. However.... now that I have at least temporarily ditched the randoms, I'm actually looking for more of a 'mini Ops' experience in coop. Traditionally, it has sucked when you have to spend 5 minutes to hunt down a CV that goes to the far edge of the map... and then came the subs... But now.. it seems coop matches are too short. Especially, as I would want to farm damage/XP in them. Also because... they are much more fun than the randoms are. Uhu... well I notice that now the bots tend to hit the islands a lot more and frequently get stuck on the rocks as well. I don't much like that... as, this may come as a bit of surprise to some, I also don't much like having maps with islands in the first place. What I do like a lot about the bots, as opposed to PvP human opponents, that the bots seem to have at least a rudimentary battle order/plan and try to move in primitive formations. Sometimes you even see human players in coop mimicing that which looks and feels great. The problem is... that the bots are now way too easy to damage and sink, while they are pretty easy to hit at most times, particularly as the fleets move too fast in relation to each other reducing the range of engagement way too much. I would, then, in consiquence prefer coop battles to be harder and last longer... (does that sound too Freudian? ...) Alternatively, I like to fantasize of WoWS having a substantially more... substantial selection of historically inspired scenario battles (aka Operations) on multiple tiers.

Well.. spotted.. It's actually a bit of a moot point, as BS smells the same no matter the language.
