There was an update running for me at that time. Could cause issues, I think.

Submarines, should they be removed from Random Battles?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Dukemaster105's topic in General Discussion
I think some wanted them. Once they were introduced, others either were able to adapt to them or not. -

The wheelies could do that... but what they mostly do (in my experience) is spot for their team while taking pot shots at the slower tanks. My... that tactic sounds awfully familiar... -
Warspite secondary build for co-op?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to CaravellaCaravan's topic in General Discussion
Yeah.. It varies and... the subs might have changed things around a bit. Though, most play randoms, I think, not so many subs in coop. Also, the number and spawn locations of the DD's varies too, and the main thing is can consistently farm those ribbons. With CL's the range is also not a factor, I don't remember what sort of range I got on the Massa secondaries. -

Thanks for the tip. Flandre I'm not getting, but Alsace might be within reach. Up and till now, I've used Massa and a combination of German BB's, as well as some rapid firing CL's I got. They all make life (in terms of WoWS missions, at least) so much easier! -

Or Massa. Very good for those ribbon count missions. -
Advice needed please - I am doing something wrong, what tactics should I be using instead

Am I mistaken if I feel you can sometimes make a last second dodge and avoid the guided torps, especially if they come from somewhere ahead, without having to use DCP? -
I'd actually make at least occasional use of that camo for fun, if it weren't on Yamato. The other ships' sci fi themed camos don't have the same ISD feel.

You have a mod installed.

Oo it's not often you get to advise Nelson. My advice is... RUN LIKE HELL ! Longer version is.. with caps you always have to weigh your odds carefully before committing, and have an exit plan ready. The old ranked method was backing into a cap, I assume having that engine speed boost thingy equipped didn't hurt. Any time you get a ping, you probably start thinking abou doing some ASW tactics... well, don't. One sub is bad enough, but they got friends in high places. There might also be another sub, not the one you think is pinging you... -
I think there is a complication if someone bought something stolen in good faith. How that actually goes in practice, though, is way beyond my limits of knowledge.

WoWS on Life Support (or worse)?
Karasu_Browarszky replied to Aethervoxx's topic in General Discussion
It's actually little surprising how little WG is paying attention there (lower tiers), because that's where you'd have lots and lots of real Russian BB's to choose from. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_battleships_of_Russia_and_the_Soviet_Union Here's the Gangut class Petropavlosk (1911) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_battleship_Petropavlovsk_(1911) -
Yes, if either of the parties is acting in bad faith, the other party is the injured party. I can imagine, in more unique cases like with art, it becomes very difficult to establish what was the case. With manufactured goods, it's always more clearcut IMO.
-
Though... more usually I think that would go something like 'Good heavens, I didn't know it was not a Rembrandt'....
-
80% means it is way below profit margins, even for luxury goods 80% means selling at a clear loss.
-
That sounds like they intended it go that way. The case might be different if you happened to see a polished mahogany table at the price of 1 euro in the shop just any regular day.
-
They probably will have guidelines and precedents to base their judgement on. Those might differ in different jurisdictions, even though the general principles are the same.
-
Ah... but then that is most definitely not bona fide.
-
I think if it went to court they would try to see if the customer had acted in good faith. It means, AFAIK, if the customer had no way of suspecting that the price was misquoted they were acting in good faith, whereas if the price was suspiciously cheap, they were fully aware something was amiss, one way or the other. Meaning, this also applies to goods that are somewhat 'hotter' than usual...
-
Er... I think the general idea is that it is the customer who is acting bona fide....
-
It seems to me WG broadly took the bona fide approach.

There were two main options, roll back which was faster, or a manual refun which was slower. I myself took the roll back. You could also choose whether to only roll back/refund crates purchased in Premium shop and/or in Armory for doubloons. The roll back set everything back, but essentially you could get new crates in place of the ones bought from Armory, at least.
-
Bona fide.

I know, it kind of gives you those 'High Tier Kongou' vibes... if only you could get it to perform like Kongou...
