A follow up on the Yukon debacle....

Well.. the Yukon owners will be happy about this. Both of them.

This is a good approach. A reasonable modification of this rule would be to grind the correspong tier X. While the basis rule is for the sake of 'historical reason', the modification is for the sake of snowflakes.

Just a bit of a warning... when you get to tier X and the 'end game'... hope you aren't expecting too much...

    3D model update

Yamato has got one 3d model update to date (was it 2 years ago.. time flies...). There are still very old models in the game which need updating urgently. I wonder how WG prioritises what gets updated first and what later. Popularity?

    Taking a break.

Well, here's my advice. Wear a pair of underwear on your head and stick a couple of pencils in your nostrils.

If you sell silver ships while you grind, which is something you may need to do due to lack of credits or port slots, you stand to lose more than a small fortune over time. I'm sure you already figured that out, but I sometimes like to play Captain Obvious. The only counter strategy to that might be to grab all those free port slots that are available through daily missions, and trying not to sell any of the high tier silver ships, at least if you intend to play them later on.

Gotta love it how creative they are when it comes to new content (they want).

Seriously WG u need to do better

I see... so the subs are the answer to the problem of 'too many BB's' in the queue...

Playing a target drone is a valuable service to the community. Thank you for your understanding.

It we are talking about only that, it won't make a huge impact for most people. Then again... if these changes will not make a huge impact per battle, what will they do. Reduce credit accumulation over time, which for the most part is going to hit people who spend a lot on equipment or do something else, like resetting lines for RB research points which likely is the biggest credit sink we have.

The sate of Co Ops today.

The only way, in about 90% of the situations of what I see in coop, that the bots can be made worse is if they scuttle their ships when the battle starts...

    Taking a break.

Since I've experienced the wheelies in WoT... well, looking at the bright side, if there is one, WG's latest in a series of catastrophic design choices will end up saving me a bundle.

There's two ways that can go. 1) Only the creme-de-la-creme of players is going to be able to consistently play at high tiers; or... 2) Only the creme-de-la-creme of players is going to be able to consistently play at high tiers.... as well as the 'potato fleet' willing to throw money at WG(mz) for the privilege of being considered top of the crop.

    British Pacific Fleet

Dunno... the order of battle seems pretty non-inconsequential. " The fleet included 6 fleet carriers, 4 light carriers, 2 aircraft maintenance carriers and 9 escort carriers, with a total of more than 750 aircraft, 4 battleships, 11 cruisers, 35 destroyers, 14 frigates, 44 smaller warships, 31 submarines, and 54 large vessels in the fleet train. " Fishy confirms non-inconsequential is a real word.

    fire is it to strong

Aand... that is one of the biggest problems in this game, as far as I'm concerned. I know some others are not concerned at all...

For Meritorious Service will be replaced by something called For Valiant Service (IIRC) with different bonuses. No idea how they are different, though. I don't like where this game's been headed for a while, and if they intend to follow the course set by WoT... I'm seriously going to have to think about binning the whole thing...

    British Pacific Fleet

Yes. Found a short quick account of it here: https://www.nma.gov.au/defining-moments/resources/fall-of-singapore And about those 15" naval guns and other problems with the defense of Singapore: https://www.historicwartours.com.au/blog/2020/6/12/singapores-15-guns Reading those two accounts explains why all of these plans failed.

    Subs replacing DD:s ?

Yes... I can attest to that as well... It could be that some sub players learn a little slower, of course. Though, I see a difference in how the player skill in DD's matched against available countermeasures, and where the player skill in subs is matched against available countermeasures, such as they are. Or, rather, aren't.

    Subs replacing DD:s ?

The skill gap with subs seems to be much bigger than with DDs. Potentially, the less able sub players may return to DD's... ...c...
