Well, they have a sort of negative value, IMO, as they can deduct points from your team through fun and engaging gameplay.

Please don't say 'sayonara', say 'bai bai' or 'jaa ne'. Mata ne! Oh.. this was about the radar, so that concern is now somewhat obsolent with newer threats present and much more often, in fact. Don't rush into the cap circle, wait for the enemy DD do that. Then either watch your team quickly dispatch the overzealous rival or watch your team ineptly letting it happen while they spew curses in your general direction. Depends on what kind of team MM graces you with.

Yay! Close quarter combat was really fun... in Seadogs. Don't see that happening a lot in 20th century, though.. even though there are some cases of a ship being boarded.

Information from Asia forum says this 'returning player code' is valid till Dec 3. I assume it gives the best goodies for the players who actually return (which will again make both of them very happy), and others will most likely get the '2 random containers' option. There was also a 3rd option listed, giving a free Charleston... It should not be expired, in other words, but you can only use it once per account.

Well.. technically speaking they aren't proper subs we have now, they are more like submersed hybrid speedboats and underwater missile batteries than subs.
