Still haven't seen the tree though...

I took snip from the missions there. None are outright identified as such, but there are a couple of interesting candidates. Topmost is running for 29 days which could, I think, match the 'Holiday Season'. Then there are three missions that run a much shorter time span. The clock for them is currently showing 12:50:00 time remaining.

I've had a double CV single DD game... playing as the DD...

The pop up said something about this thing now being visible in port. Where.. exactly? Onboard a submarine or at the bottom of the harbor? Behind one of the many buildings? On the bloody moon?

Perhaps a dedicated game mode would have been the best approach for the randoms for everyone. BB's in one (with bots), Cruisers in another (with bots), DDs... CVs... subs.. Etc.

They did seem to go to great lengths to assure that the Okhotnik was historically accurate.. so, yeah.

Diving deep means not being able to attack. The sonar is an effective countermeasure even if it's not a weapon per se, because it renders the enemy sub unable to attack.

In WoWS, they just build stuff in the sea and let the ships crash into the structure...

Only ventured into coop so far, so my sea tales are not very worthy yet... or very salty, depending on how it will unfold.

Latest pick is Marceau. Very very fast, with speed boost doing over 50 knots. No real impressions otherwise yet, or should I perhaps say 'mimes'..

My own suggestion would be special underwater portals that allow the subs to move about the map instantaneously. A very Soviet thing. Their 'Argument of Last Resort' when all else fails. Sometimes also their 'Argument of First Resort' when they feel too lazy to come up with some smarter sort of BS.

Don't forget 'historical accuracy'.

Those holes are no problem. I've seen sub movies, they just twist and turn those valve things here and there and are good to go.

I wonder if they have 'Survivability' expert skill.

I think they will do much more than just that. None of it particularly good for the game, though....
