Perhaps tomorrow's update will give us another fix... in one sense or the other.

WGC Game Settings has an option "Check for additional software". This will update a whole lot of Microsoft related stuff on your PC. Not saying this can be a factor, but these type of libraries etc. are used by games and other software.

I wonder if this due to something else, either a hardware conflict, or outdated drivers/software. Do you have an up to date graphics driver? Have you tried running the "find additional software" option? If you don't have WGC in use, I don't know how you can do that, though. You need help from someone who knows.

And here am I currently plaing with a full compliment of mods without any (technical) issues. Is this possibly a Steam related problem, because it's a little difficult to understand why the issue could come and go almost at will and affect the players differently, even the same 'fixes' having been run.

Well.. if you are asking me, premiums etc. should be balanced to be on par with tech tree ships, not better, not inferior, and potentially offering some interesting variations in addition to the improved economy and freely changeable commanders. This is my personal opinion, that is. However, it's a long standing stated aim with WG that they make them inferior in terms of performance.

The new ones are actually NERFIUMs.

You may need to run check & repair/WGCheck. It's also possible to just choose the Safe mode from WGC.

Still, you get to pick up a lot of nice stuff even if you don't plan to get/pay for the dockyard ship itself. In this sense, I will always welcome the related missions.

We are all intrigued... but if the shoe fits...

And let's not forget the Original Dockyard Ship, the Puerto Rico, the ship that was entirely possible to get for free.

Maybe on the higher tiers, depends on where you place on the leaderboard. The base XP is drasticall lower than what the modifications show. Mostly, I expect to get between 300 to 500/600 base XP.

By definition, non tech tree ships should be worse than the tech tree ships... No, the good colonel has not hijacked my account.

Like in and about many real life ports, remember to check for your wallet every now and then.

True.. but I don't think such a message can be automatic, the issue will first have to be identified at least in the broadest of terms, as in this case, to the mods. What could be nice would be some alert in port once the issue is known.

A membrane keyboard apparently. Hard to say, in gaming you will use wasd most often, so those will wear out first, so it depends on what the lifespan of the membrane is.

But that was yesterday's hot fix. As I understood it, they were trying to fix the fix this morning. Which put us, apparently, in another fix.

Could be.. also, there's literally a flurry going on in terms of all activity, not least financial. Could also be that parts of the network have been 'repurposed' in a sense.
