    Yes, because having to resort to DCP puts you at a major disadvantage. Technically, speaking.. the only sensible counterplay is sticking to the rear of the map as long as there are enemy subs in play.

    Well, on the other hand a) they don't appear in every random battle; and b) they are likely only any good in the hands of the more skilled players. I'm monitoring the situation myself, and if things start to look unplayable in this regard as well, I'll just go to Coop and Ops.

    If only they did add content, but they just add more and more ships and gimmicks but there's like fewer and fewer reasons to play this game. For starters, they could at least bring back the content they removed, like the old operations scenario battles.

    I sort of semi-accidentally spotted @BLUB__BLUB in battle. Our team did well, but the enemy did better.

    Absolutely pathetic gameplay with subs. You can't detect them (at least without sonar) except when you are literally above them at which point you can't really make effective use of the depth charges. While you try and change them you a) become a target for other enemy ships and/or b) waste time chasing ghosts when you ought to be doing something else.

    Can't think of any battle, most subs I know would have been attacking convoys. It's too bad WG has not thought about trying out a Convoy mode... oh wait.. they did, but effed it up completely....

    Yes.. but at least you don't get them in every battle, though sometimes they come in pairs.

    Thanks for the explanation. Well, if we assume that they use such metrics, and I think damage dealing might very well be the one to base it on. Of course, when they state something like that for the brawls, it sort of implies they aren't using any similar metrics for the random MM, just the tier/ship class kind of determiners.

    Yes, but as we know it's not only the good players, but also the divisions that are instrumental in dictating the pace and the result of the battles there, a solo player is much like a passanger unless they are good enough to actually carry. Not sure how reliable any statistics are currently for tier X.

    Though.. if in Brawls the players are matched based on their skill... (I forgot how they explained the techical bit though)... the technical ability to do so is there.
