A detailed look at ships. Neptune

Admire the view, perhaps? I don't know this ship at all, personally, never got that far up the tree. -

What I can't figure out, how they make that Neptune fly so fast. -
Asking the same questions over and over till you get the answers you want to hear... what does that remind me of... let me think. The Spanish inquisition!

This is so easy even I can explain it. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so people are much more likely to post a picture that says it all instead of typing those thousand words in that post. Personally, I rather prefer they do it this way.

Oh okay.. so like subs are people too?
-
Sorry, guys, I kind of lost track of what you are all discussing here.

Not just the other stats. There are indeed gameplay elements that cannot be measured in terms of XP (at least as far as the player is concerned) or even in terms of stats on record, especially the tactical element which WG has pretty much ignored either by design or out of inability to factor the tactical element into the game.

Are subs MORE impactful than CV's???
Karasu_Browarszky replied to SolanumTuberosumRex's topic in General Discussion
Subs ruin the game for not just the BB's, but for every ship class. CV's are probably the safest as the subs have plenty of other targets more easily available. There's also a difference, at least as far as I see it, between the subs and the CV's and that is target selection. Subs tend to be focused on one area, one ship, as they can't pick and choose over the whole map as situations change. Also, if they are smart they make sure they are in a position that can be supported by their team mates. For CV's, support is not an issue. That tells you something about how screwed up the game is tacticswise; slightly exaggerated, the subs are the team players, and the CV's are the lone wolves. -
Do you think RPF (Radio Location) should ALWAYS work against subs, regardless of whether they are submerged or not?

Must be due to some atmospheric anomaly, perhaps, and er.. mito.. chlorines in the water too? -

Because... subs don't hide behind the island like all the other ships? -

We need functioning sonar detection against the subs, not underwater radio detection. -

Sonar... not radio. -
Yes, I agree they are a problem. Currently, there are three types of battles: 1) They are a problem; 2) They aren't a problem because at least the enemy sub(s) is completely inept or otherwise ineffectual; and 3) They aren't a problem because thankfully there are none on the roster. Note, however, that typically many of the other problems and issues the game has can be present at every battle in varying degrees.

For some strange reason, when I saw OP's topic heading I started thinking about WoWP.

I'm hoping things will soon get out of the speculation phase, though. It's not like we need any more reasons to keep our wallets shut, tighter than a... well.. you get the picture. -

I was spotted by @Montrala when I was doing another desperate attempt to get xp on the Riga. I was also spotted by a lot of people on the red team which is why I'm back on the forum... -

Perhaps 'developer' is then a misnomer in this context. What would be a more appropriate term, I wonder. -
