Funny, we live in strange times.

My, you get easily triggered, don't you?

WG never fails our expectations.... ... any more....

The forum contains some really good nuggets from the days when this game still was great.
-
Yup... I looked at the combat missions, the most you can get from those is 75 tokens. The remaining tokens would be subject to a luck of draw, and you'd have to be very lucky to hit the 200 token with those crates. Mostly you'd get 10 or 20 tokens per crate so.... potentially expensive, yes. Mind you, with the coupon it's 187 tokens, so that's a little more reasonable.

This is what the website says, BTW. My issue with this event is that, as I only play operations, I'm stuck in step 2 in the mission chain so I can't really collect enough tokens except by sinking a fortune in doubloons into it. I think it's cheaper for me to buy the tech tree ship and bonuses for it, no RNG element included in the calculations. https://worldofwarships.eu/en/news/sales-and-events/the-colorful-regatta-has-started/

That sure looks like a premium ship marking.

Camos are only cosmetic now, so only the cosmetic criteria for them matter. For me, though, cosmetically attractive is a three category thing: 1) historical, 2) pseudo-historical', 3) visually concealing. At least one of those requirements has to be met.

All this sounds really complicated in a convoluted way somehow...

What am I doing wrong with Yamato?

As for generally the aim, there's something in the perspective (in the binocular view at least, and I always use that) that typically means that I usually end hitting lower as well that where I thought I was aiming, no matter what ship. The difference is that with ships that have a higher rate of fire, I can relatively easily adjust my aim. With guns that have roughly about 30 second reload or so, this isn't possible. -
@wargaming: This is shady! (Soviet Containers)

Yyyyikes! -
Ah, of course, they keep testing until they find the test that gives them the results they wanted.

Stung by a bee? Don't think I share your enthusiasm for the experience.... A butterfly sting would be gentler.... -
I dare say, ideal for my ships....

There are 15 non-premium Soviet era containers. Here's what they gave in all their (non-premium) Soviet glory! Pretty dumb, right? Well, it's a handy way of converting your coal to credits at a disadvantageous rate. A bit like in the Soviet era when buying US dollars with roubles....

What about if you just stick to the lower tiers? Is that in any way good, gameplaywise? Specifically for ships. I've sometimes been tempted to try out the land component, aerial... well, not so much. I have played air war titles in the past, some with more success and fun than others. Mostly I've done better if I just stick to WW1 era....

Er... thanks, something tells me that you are not going out of your way to earn any WT recruitment rewards... yikes. That map really sucks, BTW.

Thanks for the code! .... and for the 1,000 cans of spinach...

I must have made an indelible impression, for you to remember that. BTW, no offense but isn't your new avatar overdoing the dental floss?....
-
Yes, I too decided to combine the two nics I've been using. Not sure if anybody remembers my old nic, but it's now part of my new nic anyway.
