Since the servers are up and running, the issue is somewhere closer to your end (unless it's the combined effect of something in the log in process that detects or flawed connection or something). Funnily, enough... WoT log in will work perfectly well while WoWS won't. My solution is to find a VPN connection that works. While it makes better sense to usually find something that's close to the servers, this does not always work. So, using one that's closer to you is what fixed it for me. Since I don't log in without VPN, I have no idea how the Quad9 or Cloudflare DNS servers might work and if they would allow you to log in. That's quick and easy to set up, so I'd maybe suggesting trying either of those first.

I hit this issue often on ASIA, like in the past two days a lot. I'm not sure if'ts down to the time of day or something, but it's related to DNS or routing, because some VPN locations let you log in while others do not. To my knowledge, there's no fix you can do at your end. Or, if there is, I have no knowledge of it. Would be interesting to hear on official WG response to the issue.

Yes, one of the few things that we are still missing, and it's hard to see any technical reason preventing them from doing this. If they can do it in WoT, surely it can be done in WoWS as well. As for the clan age... where do you even see that?

That brings back some memories. I played Castle Wolfenstein (2d), and then the Wolfenstein 3d too. Then there was a game which I did not actually finish, but moved onto the ET servers which there were many to choose from at the time. Then I moved onto WoT, and then to WoWS... and been here all these years.

Don't agree with all of that, but some points look very welcome. In general, I'd like to see more diversity (visual, environmental AND tactical) and fewer gimmicks. The economy side of things is something that needs to be overhauled by a competent game economist.

But the white background is more legible when you are using proportional fonts. The black (dark) background is better suited for monospaced fonts.

Well.. I can't actually remember when I got my Harekaze...

Not sure, there's an old thread from 2018 indicating this camo was optional and you had to buy it for 4000 doubloons. TBH, good decent game companies are few and far between, because typically they get bought out by the big scummy ones. You can always ignore their monetization, to a degree at least, grab what's free and play the game as F2P. The problem is not then so much the company, but the state of the game and the direction of development.

Well.. unless we are dealing with torps fired from further away that just happened to come there at that time, though if not DWT's they would have hit the sinking enemy ship unless there was a bug there, then the other option would be some weird lagging bug that released the torps later than they should have been if fired by the bot ship, so you get delayed ****ed by them. Your guess is as good as mine.

What we need is actual aerial combat element, not more all sorts of gimmicks and crutches. We need CAP, we need interceptors, we need the whole enchilada if the idea is actually to represent the various aspects of naval warfare in terms of the game environment. Of course,... if the idea is something else then all this is to be ignored. As WG is very apt at doing.

I suppose, it's always possible some other ship fired torps further away...

In such a case, it's hard to imagine a sunk ship firing any torps. Must be.. magick?
