Thanks, I might try this right before trying to log in. My cache should have been pretty clear today, though, I been rebooting several times. Also, I turned off the modem as well for a few mins, but that made no difference either. This problem used to pop up mostly when connecting to ASIA, but recently I've been having the log in disconnect on EU too. I don't know if today's problems are similar, or if it's some kind of a new issue.

IIRC under game settings, same as 'Check and repair', a little further down on the list. Microsoft stuff, libraries etc. Didn't solve the problem of logging in, though, neither did trying to use Safe mode.

Yeah, right after this I run the 'additional software' stuff, then tried 'check and repair' again, and could download it. But I still got no internet connection is what the log in says...

I have this sort of connection problems regularly. I managed to download the game and install it, no problems there. Right now, when I tried to do 'Check and repair', WGC told me that the update server was unavailable.... Funny thing is, I'm pretty sure if I was to install WoT, I could get in game without probs. And it's the same company, and the same servers.... NOW I can do 'check and repair'. The only thing I did was 'Check for additional software', the usual MS crap you need to update from time to time. Not sure if it's going to fix the problem but we will see... NOPE WoWS seem to think I don't have an internet connection. The rest of the internet thinks otherwise.

Yeah well.. I reinstalled the game, took me a while, and I still can't play cause I can't log in. It tells me straight out I've been disconnected from the server.

About chkdsk and/or sfc? I've run those, they don't find any issues. As to what's going on there, I don't know for sure. In some sense, it would be better if the SSD just failed completely if there was an issue with it. A little later on, I will try to reinstall some of the games there and see if they work or not.

The SSD is about one year old only. I'm initializing it now for a second time properly, I used the fast option earlier. Funny thing was, Samsum Magician considered the SSD totally full after initializing, whereas Windows File Manager considered it completely free space. No clue why.

Thanks. I tried this, no errors to be found on C disk. The weird thing was why did the Settings go haywire, with the Restore tab collapsing. I managed to go to the boot up blue screen and return to an earlier restore point which returned the functionality of the Windows settings at least. It's an SSD. Important in the sense that this is my Games HD... so I can basically get everything back with... only 24 hours of reinstalling required or so... i didn't really have any other thing I could do at this point, so I did initialize the disk rather than going for a full reinstall of windows. The HD in question was knocked out completely, from the files system point of view. Couldn't access it, couldn't do anything, except initialize. After initilizing, the File Manager started working normally again, at least. I haven't yet done any Samsung scan on the disk to see if something shows up.

Thanks. I'm also consulting a more experienced friend. So far the problems are: D disk (games) now suddenly needing initialization. Win 10 itself messed up, troubleshooting options are gone, and the Restore settings are now inaccessible and collapse to desktop....

Thanks. I've done that. The file manager is acting up, it's now claiming I have to initialize the D disk where my games were. I don't understand why.... Anyway, I'm calling it a (bad) day, have to try and see what I can manage tomorrow.

There is a cumulative update. I tried restoring to an restore point, but that failed. No idea why, I don't know the tech side that well. Oh right now I remember, have to uninstall antivir to do that... None of my installed applications are even launching. Never seen something like this happen. Still, the hard disks report normal function, they are ok... AND WEIRDLY... now they started working... wtf is this... Games are uninstalling though.... They stopped working again.

There's something more wrong. I have information about checking for Win update about the time the problems started. It seems that a lot of the applications do not work either, and I can't find where I can use a restore point. It's like there are no restore points, and no troubleshooter working either.

Not that I know of... I can't update Intel I211 Gigabit network connection to a new one, because I did and the new one stopped the Internet connection from working. So I'm using the old version, haven't checked for Win updates though.. maybe I'm missing something critical. Ouch. It ain't even old...

As for the bonuses, not sure what practical difference switching from type of visual bonuses to a different type of non-visual bonuses is going to make. Unless they are planning another use for the signal flags, of course.

Unless someone knows differently, the only reference I find is on Reddit.
