Ideally, I think the game should have enough variety to cater to what most players could be looking for to get out of it. Not even necessarily the same thing for any one player day in day out. Sadly, though, that kind of thinking is definitely not reflected in the direction that the devs have been taking the game.

The problem here is that some of what you find are books, some internet sites do have blueprints but they may be behind a paywall. I'd say how effective those radars are depends on the players who use them, and their team mates. I don't know if it's even theoretically possible to have the MM balance the radars, unless it were to have an algorithm that seeks to balance the radar ships between the teams, in this case that would be 2 vs 1. Obviously, the MM is not doing this, so is it trying to balance the radars through other means, or is this just a 'random feature'.

I sometimes can log in, sometimes can't. I'm not sure if it's the mods, but the game hits a 'critical error' often when trying to launch. Could also be antivir related, of course. The odd thing is that opting for 'Safe mode' can also return the same critical error. If noone else is getting this, it might be related to possible underlying issues with my SSD or something. I deleted the entire res-mods folder and was able to log in. Not sure what happens next time, though.

The funny thing is that I had this issue with mods when launchign the game in Safe mode. That could point to the problem being elsewhere, and it simply coincidental that it seems to only occur when the mods are installed. Now I run a smaller selection of mods, but it won't guarantee I won't run into the issue later on again, especially if it's caused by something else. When connecting to WG update servers, Malwarebytes raised two malware and one Trojan flag. Nope. Just occurred in mid battle again. Critical error.

It is possible that the issue is not mods related, of course. Usually I've been able to do just that, without any particular problems.

Concealment is baked in on the ship now, dispersion is gone completely.

Sold heaps of them. What I mostly did keep were stuff like the Battle of Jutland and the more military looking ones, just in case. Also, apparently 'special ones' can't be sold.

I made about 233 million credits out of this change. A most welcome addition to my little warchest. Some of the camos were rather contrived, in my opinion, but there were also some which were works of art. Not that I'd necessarily choose to sport those on a 'warship', but some people might like them. Here's one example. The pride of the Russians, the Mighty Kremlin dressed up to look like a Perse.

Well, I welcome the option of not to having to use a camo at all. Also, the 233 million credits was very welcome too. I have some reservations of am I going to lose in terms of credits over these changes, or not. Furthermore, it's clear that I'm not going to praise WG, or give them credit due to more one consideration as WG neither warrant, nor deserve it.

Yeah, I recall that being a case at times. What I did was leave out the 'fluff', I installed the ones that I think I really could use, for gameplay and visuals, that is. I managed to log in at least for now. Mind you, I also slightly adjusted the graphics downwards, just in case this is GPU issue.

For me, it's either historically correct camo patterns, or just regular navy paintjobs (mostly meaning no camo).

Anybody know what's going on with my WGC? I get this. I get the same notifications for everything in WGC. Prior to this I encountered the 'Stuck on loading screen issue': Safe mode did not work right away, then after a few minutes got in. Battle ended, tried Coop, got critical error. Then relaunched the game, immediate critical error. Then I started get these notifications.

PTS round 3 ended on Monday morning, though.

From past experience I know that this only affects a segment of players. It's almost like there's some sort of a limit on how many players they let on the servers at any given time. Maybe I'm just trying to look good wearing a tin foil hat, I don't know, but I tend to get all sorts of sneaky suspicions when the servers are up and people can't connect. Needless to say, everything else on the net that is up and running can be accessed.

Steam is something I can't comment on at all. Also, I don't see any build numbers for what I have installed. Theoretically, at least the non-Steam version pre-downloads the update but won't install it until the update goes live.

Wait.. does that mean that you have the 0.11.6 version installed. Two days too early?

BTW, which is this is the current game version, I'm assuming it's the top one. I'm not sure if this has any effect on the issue, but just wondering...
