Ever get the feeling that you should just give up?
DeadlySin85 replied to simonmd's topic in General Discussion
A yeah... Detailed per battle stats are wonderful when the one watching them is the one that played those battles, as allow you to get a clearer picture of how game mechanics works... ...When some1 looks at another's, ofc, ignores the important details behind that person gamestyle which averages and sums simply destroy (Also most ppl bringing stat "reassonings" lack basic statistics formation to understand bias, how to "forge" them, etc, etc)... They are just pennismeters but... ...They fill a DECISSIVE role on WG earnings... ...They allow for the monetization of stat reseting services ;). For example: Means you understand the most basic bias of average stats... And why WG has found a way to earn money from ppl seeking to showoff by "deleting" their learning process ;). I do agree that there are ways you can "manipulate" stats. Converting xp with gold so that you never play stock ships/tank/planes, instant crew/captain retraining with gold etc. I also agree that some people use stats as a pennismeter but I can't say that stats mean nothing more. As I said it's a never ending argument and I'm getting off-topic so it's better that we agree to (sort of) disagree and try to enjoy the game -

The discussion about stats is long and people will dissagree forever about the importance of stats. I am kind of interested in stats because it's a nice personal challenge to try and get better and better as long as it doesn't take away the joy. Balance is everything If a person has bad stats over thousands of games it's high unlikely that his next game will be any different. Even if he manages to do good it happens once in a blue moon so it's not a big deal. It's the lack of urge to get better at a game you're playing that I find disturbing. Ofcourse that doesn't make this person bad/stupid/whatever. Each person has a different way of enjoying a game and rightfully so. It's just that I'd like this person to be on the enemy team if I had the choice. (Btw I have bad stats) -

I have to agree with the 2 forumites above. I like wot more as a game (I find it more demanding) and I feel satisfied after a good battle no matter if my team won or not but good battles seem to happen rarely. Roflstomping or being roflstomped is not fun plus it's making me rage when I try hard but the rest of the team is shooting at butterflies and birds. In wows things are much better so far or at least that's what I believe. -
I got my Cleveland today and to be honest I can't see what the fuss is all about. Granted I haven't researched all the modules on the Cleve yet but the Omaha seems like a better ship if compared tier to tier. Maybe I need to get used to that awful arc or maybe I'm not good enough for higher tiers (it's my first tier 6) but I'm having more fun in the Omaha.

New Aim Mod (No, realy, this one is new)

I kinda suck at this game but still wouldn't use a cheat like this one because it would make the game straight up boring. If we take aiming away from game then there's not much left to do during the battle, I'd rather go back to wot. Anyway what I'm really saying is that it really makes me wonder how some people prefer to make a game boring for them just to have better stats. -
12 - 0 - The most one-sided battle !

I'm new in this game but coming from WoT I can't say I'm surprised with the 15-0 battles
