  1. Concerning the grand fleet of fog: Got 20 US, 20 Jap , 20 German, but still 2 USSR ships, there are simply not enough USSR high tier ships in the game for this to be a reasonable objective!! Make it 20 USSR or 20 English and it is more balanced with the other nations. ( in terms of availability to kill )
  2. I see it many times, one stupid BB or Cruiser facing off against 8 enemy ships. Instead of retreating and regrouping ( to even the odds ) just thinking they are super man and dying within seconds. When warning them for their mistake i get all kinds of abuse and stupid things like: Dude see my stats i will take care of this I must really count to ten and prevent myself for making a friendly kill for this kind of stupid anti team play. People must really learn, this is a team game, not a who has the biggest [edited]game. If a captain do this in real life and survives it he will certainly be court marshalled. Please make an animation video ( the fish and the captain thingy ) about this , people simply wont get it.
  3. Before you ask or blame me, yes i am a hardcore BB player and therefore hate DD's, but that is not the point of this topic. I would like to point out how ridiculous DD are and how far this class divers from the true historical accurate role they had. 1 DD's were mainly used as scouting and submarine killing ships. ( in WoWS they are some stupid sniper/assassin like torpedo spammers ) 2 DD's had torpedo's true, but in WW2 they were reloaded AT THE DOCK , NOT AT SEA!!! ( only submarines had the ability to reload their torpedo tubes at sea, DD's NOT!!, this makes the game so bloody inaccurate and arcade if you ask me ) 3 At less then 10 km DD's were spotted by BB's smokescreen or not. ( this [edited]of WoWS that BB's are almost virtually blind ( cant see a DD at 3 km's sometimes ) is so [edited]forced rock-paper-scissors mechanic, in truth BB's had the best ( because of their hight of their main tower mostly ) sight then any other class. ) 4 DD's had more a supporting rol not an attacking role except when hunting submarines. ( cruisers/BB/submarines were mainly used as the attacking ships ) So, people often say that submarines dont have a place in this game because they were slow and only have torpedoes. WELL. Given the historically accuracy, TAKE AWAY DD's torpedo reload capability, add depth charges and give this torpedo reload feature ONLY to submarines, i would suggest gameplay wise that the speed however of submarines could be slightly adjusted to make this NEW class better fit in. I hope DD captains are not offended by this post, but see that their class is just a made up arcade one and not based on any historical data. This post was made because of the new hate against BB captains lately. Just some counterweight
  4. I mean come on, DirectX 9? A little bit outdated if you ask me, this game would greatly benefit from the features of DirectX 12 if you ask me, but i think DirectX 11 is minimum anno 2016.

    the ballistic difference is in the vertical axis, so dont fool me, and just study the real ships and real ship battles please, and you will read that you are the one that is wrong not me, for your argument, the AP would be aimed at the belt and the HE a little higher ( vertical axis ) on the main superstructure. Please dont start again, i know i am right, i studied this subject on an academic lvl.

    to make the game a lot less arcade and more realistic? i say go , green light The thing i most hate about this game ( love this game but it has some flaws ) is that DD's are stupid torp spammers, that makes it totally unrealistic and arcade in my opinion. DD were scout and escort ships used for hunting wolf packs, not this unrealistic long lance torpedo [edited]). the long lance ( 20km ) torp was only used in the very last part of the war by the japanese and very unrealiable. ( never see one dud torpedo in this game, they are run fine and all make the 20 km mark. ( stupid )

    Anyone noticed that real life ships could aim their guns invididually? ( per gun not per gun turret ) so computer could make the individual settings for each gun , player just have to aim the normal way, not difficult to implement at all. So poorely thought over, i think not

    Thats right, not mixed shells, mixed salvo's , also i would suggest a new (realistic )shell type Incendiary ( purely focused on setting fire but wont do any structural damage )

    why would it make shell type redundant, not at all, you make use of both strenghts of both shell types, full HE for maximum fire potential, full AP for max penetration potential, mixed for both , real life BB's for example didnt use full AP spreads or HE, always mixed so they can do all kinds and sorts of damage to the enemy ship. I think too much good idea's are wasted because it would upset the game mechanics, that is also the reason submarines are banned in this game. DD's would get a new and realistic purpose , that is hunting submarines with depth charges ( like they did in real ) instead of the unrealistic arcade torpedo spammers they now are. ( torps were sparcely used in WW2 because they were bloody unrealiable and expensive )

    Make it possible to mix AP with HE rounds, so you can do AP damage and also set fire , idea?

    Offcourse for this idea to work would be to enlarge the maps by a great factor. Submarines would also need to be implemented, DD's should get a limited amount of torps instead of the unlimited supply they now have. Torp spamming is far from realistic. ( destroyers only had a few torpedoes ( maybe 1-2 reloads ) in real life ) Same would be giving a F16 Fighting Falcon ( jet ) unlimited supply of missiles. They have 4 not more.

    Some gameplay ideas

    Hi, I would like to see some escort kind of missions. Team A escort the goods convoy, Team B gets points for killing freighter ships. Like real battles did go in WW1 and 2. ( there was no keep this virtual circle in the ocean occupied ) In this kind of missions ( instead of basic team deathmatch/capture the flag what the current gameplay is ) the coming of submarines would also be useful. ( in the current gameplay modes , the role of submarines is indeed a little bit difficult to be made fun to play ) The role of the freighter captain would be kind like the CV captain, not commanding just one freighter but all the freighters in the convoy . Fighting just warships is unrealistic and without submarines just arcade. Anyone like this idea?
