Just for a heads up on what I have working from the previous update; Minimap with ship names. Black Citadel detection mod Extended chat. Running Lights. Anti Glare. Clear Vision All zoom mods are easily updated (currently using YAZOOM)

Oh come on! If it was not for those whiney seamen we would not have any entertainment here! Yes, for one i am happy with this, they may not be my 'cup of tea' but as i had already ground this line in effect I have something for nothing. Maybe he just hates the name now? Like a few here ground through to the Kagero (50k away from Shima that I care not to get), and would be interested in some honest and constructive feedback from players that are trying the new line today. FYI - I just had my NA client updated and although still low in the tiers regarding IJN DD's (up to Isokaze), I received 2 million credits. I can cope with that!

First, as our one liner expert has said, you need to create accounts on all regions you wish to play on. Secondly, a little editing needs to be done to your scripts_config.xml file. You don't need to download and to install game client for every region. Do it so: 1. You have to be registerred on server where you want to play2. Switch off WoWs game client3. Go to WoWs game folder and there to res subfolder (for expamle c:\Games\World_of_Warships\res\ )4. Make backup copy of file scripts_config.xml5. Download this file ( scripts_config.zip 566bytes ), unpack it and put it to res subfolder6. Start WoWs game client, choose server where you want play and enjoy Notes: 1. Do backup of the modified file scripts_config.xml as a new patch may set the game client back to one server only change of client language will modify scripts_config.xml to one server only 4. If you have message about different game versions (client vs. server) then try to connect later. All regional servers are updated at different times. 5. When you choose "Check game integrity" from launcher then launcher will roll-back original scripts_config.xml which don't allow players to connect to other regions. Therefore after checking integrity you have to edit/replace scripts_config.xml again. Copied from this post.

A 'Super Container' is an extra special (and rare) container that can offer some very nice item indeed (as you have found out). Plenty of previous examples can be found in this thread. I have just got my 100th container with which, 4 have been SC's (not had one since the first week!). I choose 'More signals and camouflages' all the time now as I get a mixture of all the things I want, signals and camouflages obviously, but in this selection I have also got port slots, captain reserve slots, free XP and bloke stroking his long lance! Maybe a SC today? hopes........

FFS. Get p1ssed off with those pointing to premium ships and shouting 'PtW'. It takes a good captain to get the best of these ships not the ships making the best out of the captains. Strangely enough I am equal in 'skill' in both the Minekaze, the Fujin and the Kamikaze R, sure I would like some of that magical fairy 'PtW' dust sprinkled over me when in the premiums but it just does not happen. (Someone really need to speak to new players buying the Tirpitz and Atago, they really are not PtW!). Some premiums are better in a set tier but they tend to have no silver counterpart, the only ships I would say may have an edge in capable captains hand would be the Texas and Arizona.

Yup, damage saturation sucks when you do not get the kill as expected. If in all examples the DD was either slower or indeed stopped the kill would ave been inevitable. But, if you look at the examples, as the DD is travelling at that 'just so' speed, the torps are in fact hitting in the same spot hence the saturated damage.

I would be extremely concerned with my countries navy if they could NOT get battle ready sooner than in the 2 world wars. You were in the navy? A cook like Captain Seagull?

Would help with a picture/replay, but my bet was that the area you were shooting at, had its HP pool emptied meaning no more damage could be done to that area.

Certain DD's have less than 6km detection range and as for not seeing them at that distance is quite realistic. As for your DD tactics that is one sure fire way not to help your team out, and as for the game mechanics being broken, far from it. By the way, anyone who sails DD's will obviously 'abuse' their ability to get close and torp, all other ships will have the ability to see those torps and make the necessary manoeuvres, ah, I know, you just did not see them until it was too late, yes?

You really are missing out on a lot or earnings by playing the Blys in PvE. Do yourself a great favour, just play lower tiers in PvE where the difference in earnings are less noticeable, and play the 'big boys' in PvP where you will earn those containers a lot quicker!

I can concur. Had a battle in the Fletcher which had just over 2000 XP on it, won the battle, got 4500 XP but back in port the ship XP had reset to zero. Strangely though the Container tab showed the correct XP?

Sounds more likely a network issue with you being kicked back to the login screen.
