Hello 22cm, You state complaining, and there has been a lot but in all honesty what percentage is based on good old reasoning? Not a lot. Every battle you and all the other players get involved in creates data to enable balances to be made. Some are hard to understand (we as supertesters do not actually have a say in any change no matter what you think) and some are expected and wanted changes. It is not about 'there is nothing wrong' but about getting it better so instead of feeding us negative posts and threads why is the information not fed in a balanced and well supported fashion (facts and figures etc)? That way it would be easier to understand players concerns rather than the same old 'op this' nerf that' type of post? Ducat

Hi genai, Thank you for a more balanced response. Believe me, if I ever think a game is in its death throes I will leave, I was an avid and keen player on WoWp but due to that game not heeding its player population in addressing balance many (including myself) have left. I am in agreement balance is still in its infancy but I am more than positive it will only get better. We are always quick to judge without all the facts and information and I include myself in that 'we' but reality dictates until there is something final we cannot pass judgement, only personal opinion. Regarding answering your 'stuff' from your second post; It stems from your very own experiences and whilst many may very well hold the same opinions many do not and I am happy to listen to them all but to try and build your own opinions up as you have; I am not quite sure as to whether you have had a '1000' times more feedback over anyone else. As for me, praise it? Of course I will praise it, but only where praise is due and I will criticize when it is deserved. I have to be impartial (no matter that your opinion is that supertesters are some sort of fanboy club) and will read and listen to others and make impartial judgements on that information. You certainly have a voice (and want it to be heard) but I believe what you need to do is to feed this information from you 1000 feedbacks to the devs in the Open Beta Feedback forum.

As stated before, your negativity seeps though your veins. If, in a years time your predictions are proven I suggest leaving and coming back to say you said so. For those that think this game is in its final reiteration they are wrong as we are still testing. I love doomsayers as all they see are the negatives and never accept any positive. Unfortunately it is those that are the loudest as they seek to be heard so for those that enjoy and are positive about the future of this game make your voice heard.

I have posted this previously but I will reiterate. When creating accounts in the different regions try to use the same ID/email and that way it simplifies the way you log in. When a new update is imminent ensure you back up your modified version so you can update the 'new' version of the 'scripts_config.xml' file. If you feel the need to buy anything (doubloons/ships etc) do it through the regional web portal and not through the client as that will put you through to your native (EU) Premium Shop.

My Roccat Savu has served me well throughout WoWp as well as here in WoWs but then again does not need anything special.

It is a great map and I have had some epic battles on it. Don't blame the map because of the failing of your teams that you are in. No matter the map, 'lemming train' style of play is 90% destined to fail, only when a like minded enemy team does the same are you likely to have a chance of victory. But, you are entitled to your opinion but to start a thread about it is likely to attract a little defence of the map.

But is that not the point of those particular 2 classes? Those are the most vulnerable to gunfire and rely on their own long reaching weapons to counter that. -

Is there not an option to change language in the RU launcher? It may not be an option as I know we ST'ers have to play on a RU client and sometimes it is not enabled for English.

As with all games it is not to everyone's taste. Active player totals will rise and fall all the time but at the core will be those that enjoy the game and go along for the long term ride. Shame conspiracy theorists and doomsayers at the slightest chance bemoan the game, bottom line is if you do not like it that much do not hang around.

There is nothing wrong in a draw, many sporting contests can end in a draw. I would rather see 2 hard playing teams be awarded by a draw. If it comes down to the last enemy it is up to the ally team to dominate the cap and not hunt down that last kill. Had the most bizarre comment in a battle today; I was in a Wyoming and had battled hard to get 3 kills to save our CV but eventually was overwhelmed. 4 enemies left and they were far away from our cap but instead of trying to go for a draw went and took on the 4 enemies, when I said to hide to get a draw he retorted 'a loss was better than a draw'! In this case fortune did not reward the brave fool.

Are you positive you downloaded the EU client? That would be the result if client/ regional account did not match.

Hello, with someone with as much experience as you it is a little sad to put blame on something other than what skill can achieve - accuracy. Hitting someone who is hidden from direct view but is 'lit up' is achievable as long as you have a good arc of fire, if you do not, even any sort of artificial help will not get you any hits on that 'hidden' target.

As wide of the mark as the English cricketers were last weekend. A good mechanical engineer as technically efficient and knowledgeable will not necessarily lend himself very well to plumbing and a plumber vice versa. Both are technically skilled and intelligent but unless either of them get skilled in each others trade they will definitely not be as good as each other. Some are gifted and can pick things up easily and in this case the OP was neither gifted nor skilled and made an argument about something they have never actually experienced. BTW. The OP sets the ball rolling, all the rest argue whilst the OP silently leaves the room..... -

Top Biplane player from WoWp explains you the current state of (ridiculously OP) aircraft in WoWp terms Welcome! I am the Red Baron and I can confidentially say that I am one of the best fighter pilots on EU server in WoWp. Im not bad at other planes either - if you are not familiar with me, you can check my WoWp account here: http://worldofhurt....Red_Baron/ In this game I have now encountered carrier planes up to T9, so I can confidentially tell you how they perform in "WoWp terms" in their current state of balance for all you new and old players familiar with WoWp too. Imagine that in WoWp you have a plane that has: 1) Speed, manoeuvrability and camo of a camel and you play regularly against an enemy team that contains 6 Fokkers, few regular Nieuports or similar and just a couple of F.E.2's. 2) You can magically shoot enemies from very short distances, even thou you are very far physically yourself - skill of taking very long leads in combination of knowing how players tend to move in WoWp with current shell flight times do not exist at all in this game with aircraft. 3) You get to play a map each and every time that is A) completely flat (no terrain elevation cover like in WoWp against really big planes) B) without any clouds where planes (=other planes) could hide to C) without any other fluffy cloud (if plane is near a cloud, you can always attack with planes from other direction). Also you have infinite range unlike in WoWp aircraft. 4) Your damage output is huge. How do you think I would do in WoWp in these circumstances with an aircraft? Yes, you probably guessed it right, I would totally dominate you all with my flying skills reaching 80%+ winrates like current average+ players do in this game. Yes, this is the sad state of carrier planes in this game currently, mostly because of the game mechanics listed in point 3). The biggest difference is that In WoWp biplanes only have a few maps where they can change the outcome of the game regularly (open maps like Province, Bay). Most maps offer some very good cloud cover which good heavy and light players (weight can tip the balance in these little planes) can use to their protection and still engage in flying normally and there are also several maps where planes are pretty much useless and do not affect battle outcome usually at all (Harbor, Lighthouse). In this game however every single map for a pilot is a like a flat field with no bushes and no houses in to crash into and you have infinite range all the time. Every map is a dream map for a pilot. How to fix this? Fixing means that a great pilot in every class reaches similar winrate no matter what class they are in. Some simple steps that come to my mind (there could be better/alternative ones too!): 1) Nerf the speed, manoeuvrability, camo and self-spotting ranges of planes significantly. They should be the worst in game like they are in attack aircraft. There could be a few expectations - carriers that have speed and manoeuvrability etc. pros, but in exchange those planes have much lower damage outputs than slow and bulky bombers (like T10 IL40P has in WoWp compared to for example T10 Me P.1102 B). 2) Make fighters gun arming time several seconds long - this way good fighter pilots could still own noobs flying in an (almost) straight line, but good fighter pilots could actually dodge gunfire with evasive manoeuvres (like good medium/heavy (like I said weight of pilots has an influence) pilots can avoid gunfire in WoWp with current long shell flight times in WoWp). Also this way you could at least protect one side of yours with hard cover (clouds). 3) Make planes´ cooldown times longer -> lower overall dpm 4) Reduce hitpoints of bombers and/or make their repair cooldown times much longer/repair ability out. In WoWp the most durable planes can take a few hits at most from light fighters, in this game currently fighters can survive as much hits as most bombers. In WoWp terms; imagine you would have as much hipoints in your fighter as you have in your medium bombers. Currently in this game a single battle´s outcome is decided mostly by which team has higher tier/more planes. This doesn´t happen EVERY single time, but it´s a very good rule of a thumb. This means planes in their current state are brokenly OP and if you don´t see this, you must live in complete denial. In WoWp a flight of 3 unicums (pilots who think they are the best but are not) in heavies/multirole/fighters always win against a solo unicum fighter pilot - in this game one unicum pilot can carry whole team of potatoes (pilots who unicums think are not very good) against a team of unicums playing other classes. P.S I personally won´t play any plane battles before their OPness is fixed even thou you would maybe think so looking at my history in WoWp playing mostly fighters. I have watched enough of that (several hours from YouNoob and Twatch) to know how it exactly is in current "balance" of the planes. In real life I don´t wander on streets beating 12 year old defenceless girls either and this is pretty much what playing fighters currently is. You fighter sealclubbers should be ashamed of yourselves. I don´t have a problem getting killed/one shotted by heavies in WoWp at all when I play other planes, since I know they are overall balanced (T10 heavies are actually a bit UP in WoWp currently - you can see this by checking my winrates in WoWp with different classes even thou I am mostly known as a super unicum heavy player, yes I know I am that good!). So I am not at all one of those dedicated "one plane class haters" like there are some in WoWp community (like Billy Bishop, Albert Ball etc.) Thanks for reading. PS. This post was written very much tongue in cheek but underlining a message to the OP - this is not WoT and definitely not comparable.- 203 replies

Hello Nechrom, The ships can indeed maintain full speed when at an angle at the border. When we first tested the 'new' borders we laughed then at how we could maintain our speed whilst 'drifting' sideways. In all our naivety back then, we never thought that this feature would in fact end up causing quite a bit of controversy due to it being exploited for players own devices. Obviously I cannot say much but this is being looked at quite seriously so in the near future expect to see electrified wire around the maps border (ok the last bit is a fabrication).

New to the Minkaze and friends who are better versed with playing DD's recommended the faster 7km torps and after using them over the longer distance but slower torps I agree. They must work wonders as a disgruntled New Mexico player in my last battle called me a cheat after my fast 7km torps sent him to the bottom. Obviously I should have used the 10km torps as he would have been able to avoid them more easily.....
