No need to shout about it, we have enough scaremongers amongst the community. If you want to help, just speak to the relevant people, support and not here. To put this ugly baby to bed, Files are to be encrypted with the upcoming patch which in turn will at least stop mods or any other program from working with the current game files. I still beg the question, why on earth would someone really want to splash hard earned cash on something that the Mk.1 eyeball can achieve? (I know the answer, I am just speaking out loud!).

Never sailed a carrier in OBT so from that assumption I am going to say I am from middling to poor! But hey, who cares about stats, I care about how well I do in battle and hope the others in my team do as well!

1. I agree - to a point. As much as you may have good AA on your CA it is automatic and probably why the XP rewards are pitiful on that point. But, for me when I do support a CV, if it results in a win partly because I did aid in keeping the CV afloat I am grateful for that. 2. Any good player worth their salt will aim to try to do as much damage as possible, and as much as your team may have won the battle, it will be inevitable that the weaker players on your team will have done far less in the battle than the most successful enemy player. But, the top winning players on your team will have earned much more XP for their effort so the rewards are valid. 3. I agree, again to a point. Losing a strategic and possibly very good player can affect the balance and it is here that your concerns regarding teamwork are valid. But, if the team rallies round and fights harder and uses tactics that are normally alien to them (aggressive instead of passive etc) battles can be turned. When in a BB in a numerically weaker team should not be a problem, it is having a little support when closing in that would be problematical. Again it is about having supportive teamwork that is needed. As a summary, your concerns are valid but as already stated getting 12 strangers (probably) from many different countries some barriers are already there. Some unfortunately do not want to cross those barriers and end up being a lone warrior whilst others may be quite open to good suggestions and it is those that will do better overall. Going forward, Ranked Battles I believe, will attract more of the like minded amongst the player base and I want to believe it is in this mode those that are the most willing to be strategic and work with others will have more fun. We will see.....

Well, all I will presume (a replay will be invaluable here to make a proper analysis) is that the Cleveland is at a point where his high trajectory guns are firing over the island but due to the lower trajectory of your guns at the same distance they will hit the island.

Looking at your profile it appears you are a 'passive' BB player, 6 battles in the New York with no kills to your name. Ok, kills are not everything but doing damage is and your average damage over those 6 battles is 8000. But, and a big but in 1 battle you actually caused 33000 damage leaving 15000 damage caused over the other 5 battles giving an average for those 5 battles as 3000. But, there is another twist in your stats, you have only survived in 1 out of those 6 battles. So, final conclusion would say you are over aggressive (read possibly suicidal) and rushing in firing and getting killed quickly, am I right?

I fully support the OP's frustration but I 'cheated' in getting through the South Carolina and Kawachi by doing mostly PvE as you do not need a great deal of XP to get to tier 4 which in general are so much better, not great just better!

The OP's and the following posts all are valid requests with which little needs to be done by the devs to implement. I am as infuriated as many as simple changes (as described by the above) are impossible to change. My preferences from most desired to least so; Division chat. Chat mute. More in game display information (ability to either add or subtract certain information available in current UI). Ping identifier. Multiple choices of scope crosshairs. More Control options (invert mouse, more key mapping options etc). UI scaling (much needed for those able to run at either very high or low resolutions) Port options (carousel, filter option to only select, tier, class, nation). Could be more but that gives an idea what could be done with little implementation. -
We knew form very early on they got the Myoko and Mogami the wrong way round. I do not think at this moment in time they will move the Cleveland as they already have taken some of her 'sting' out of her.

What a let down! I saw the thread title and was ready to vent my spleen towards British railways and their sardine carriages........ *Had a quick look at your profile and you have as a majority (303/19) played PvE where it is only 8 v 8. You really need to understand PvE is the 'hand holding' mode that enables you to 'have things easy'. 12 v 12 is hardly overcrowded, in testing we have played 15 v 15 and on small maps, now that is fun!

I have been in a few battles like this. They tended to be because of the 'lemming train' effect, whereupon our team get a couple of quick kills leaving the focussed fire to rain on fewer and fewer ships. Nothing to say the enemy teams were bad but unfortunate to use the wrong tactics at the wrong time.

I have been away for a lovely break with my daughter this past weekend and thought I would have a quick browse through the forum to see what excitement and founts of knowledge I may have missed. This thread title obviously caught my eye and I was pleasantly surprised regarding Bro's (OP) post. I know Bro and think of him as a friend as well as a fellow clan member and I am often saying on TS that I will not be able to division up due to testing demands. He knows the time that I and fellow ST'ers put into testing so I for one am very grateful for his support and this post represents my personal thanks for that support. For the rest, I know there are both those that do support us and those that think less of us, but what I want to say here, is that I am first and foremost a fan of the game, a player (of questionable skill!) and a person who does want to help in aiding others to make this a better game and experience. What we do has already been explained quite eloquently by JeeWee (he is good with crayons too!) so I won't go into those details here but what I want all to know about is the amount of time some of us put into testing and the preparation of said tests. For instance, since the end of July it has been weekly and intense testing leading to the release(s) of the 0.4.1 PT., so quite a lot of testing and checking! Anyway, enough of my lathering, all I want to say is thank you to all that understand and appreciate what we do.

MM thread 1,000,001. Absolutely nothing wrong here, a tier 6-9 spread and the only reason a tier 5 is in there was because of a division and they really did nothing wrong being just one tier apart. You have been part of the testing process for quite a while and really should know better than to rage about something we all know is currently flawed. -

Just to add my 2 cents to this problem. Up until recently I had no issues (my PC is more than capable of running at max+ with a 50mb fibre connection) but I am suffering the same issues as some posters here describe. FPS starts off at the usual figures (wavering between high 50's and high 60's) but then every second plummets to 1-2fps leaving the game to be virtually unbearable. But, the same happens to me on the PT so with this information I am going to be wholly presumptuous in saying this problem lies firmly at WG's feet. You have my money so please invest it wisely.....

Thank you for a reasonable opinion, not that I can say the same for Tubit101 as all he seems to do is angle for an argument. My original quote was against a win being awarded to a team with the most ships left, my truthful example was to highlight how unfair that would be. My effort saved the day for our team rescuing certain defeat for a draw. Stop being so self righteous and here is the proof to silence your doubt. (by the way, my effort gave our team equal kills, so a draw?).
