Figment, I do hold your views in reasonably high esteem but your view on Hot Spot is awry. Your view is of a perfect example, and that rarely happens. I will give you one very good example as to why the spawn locations are a fail and that is divisions. Ok, here is my example and it has happened many times rendering my divisions choice of ships null. One friend chooses a CV, I counter that by choosing a good AA support cruiser. Hit Battle, Hot Spot is the map, we spawn on opposite sides of the map and as with a majority of players he gets no direct support from the get go. I on the other hand have no chance to aid him as was the original intention as I am on the opposite side of the map. Yes, it does matter getting spotted immediately (I have spotted a CV immediately with a Cleveland to counter your point) as it does affect the way you intended to play the battle out. Anyway, this is now a moot point and the spawn points have been readdressed thankfully. Hope to see you soon on Hot Spot with the new spawn layout.

36 seconds. As above, I found out (too late) to treat her more like a BB and use her punchy guns at a distance rather than get mixed up close quarters. Still a tough ship to get throughg to get to the Aoba

Hot Spot is a fail (no matter some posts here) due to the fact it gives no reasonable time to form tactics or a defence other than for those that choose DD's or CA's. Come on, you want to play in a division yet you spawn on opposite sides of the map? No, I complained from day one and now they are changing the spawn points, at last. The map itself is great so do not get me wrong on that part but you do need that first minute of the battle to try to formulate a strategy. If you are spotted within that minute (as BB's and CV's are) it then becomes a battle of trying to evade rather than plan a battle, a total fail. The new map Straits (on PT) is almost as bad where teams can be spawned diagonally opposite of each other.

Its not the MM I would worry about it is those horrible icons........

Hi Nakitu, I read your OP and I do empathise with your loss rate but please do not blame it on your teams or the MM. I got curious and checked the stats on each team and they were remarkably close. Your team had an average winrate of 48% with a total of 3766 battles played between them whilst the enemy team had an average winrate of 49.93% and 2500 battles played. Not really a marked difference, I would say you just had bad luck with teams that were just not playing their best or cohesively.

Hello, whilst trying to look at your 'wish list' in a neutral way I have to look at the way you play yourself in order to come to some rationalisation. You are in fact below average for a BB captain (you chose the Kongo as a representation which at 47% is your second most successful BB you sail in your port) and maybe you need to look at the way you use BB's in battle? You Cleveland RoF is wrong, it is 7.5 rpm (every 8 seconds) so you may be confused by someone splitting their gunfire up turret by turret instead of full salvoes. The only point I will agree with is the extremes of air launched torpedoes (close to land, short range arming for example) but other than that your arguments are flawed as it is only based on your own personal experience. For example, I am a poor BB captain but I know the failings are down to me (oh, and of course RNJesus) and that I need to change the way I play BB's (too much like CA's!).

Please, this was to be expected. All of the hype over the Tirpitz was bound to generate over usage once it went on sale, really not worth a whine thread.

Already purchased, yes expensive but I was fortunate to test her and loved her so for me it was not questionable. For those that look at her as a pure BB need to think hard and watch all videos of her in order to make a solid decision to purchase her.......but you will not be disappointed

Gee, I have just bought a rig with almost the same specs of yours ( except the i5 is a Skylake CPU courtesy of Chillblast). But as for 70fps that is about it for this game. I currently run with a 650ti Boost and it runs mid 50's to mid 60's most of the time.

Unfortunately not, you have to 'own' the ship to see skins in their full glory. Also, after this latest update (0.4.1) mods will not work except for those creators that have contacted WG in order to become a trusted content provider.

Unfortunately the internet has brought something to the world that a few like to abuse, anonymity. Of course there are usernames but they are totally meaningless to most except the individual that created it leaving that cloak of anonymity a few revel in. With that in mind we have to take a different view on life that we would not consider in our normal walk of life, that there are total morons around every corner willing to do you harm, verbally. I, like all here, hate abuse, more so with those that lower themselves to become racist as soon as that cloak of anonymity covers them. No doubt you all here are more than decent enough not to respond, but it certainly does not make the comments any less hurtful or offensive. This is where we have to rely on our hosts to provide some sort 'policing' but like you, I find it extremely poor and it really needs to be ramped up if we are to rein in abuse. Until then or if it ever happens, we just have to be strong and ignore those that want to lower themselves in the gutter, after all they are the sludge of life..........

@hood_2015 - I applaud your fondness and appreciation of the RN but reality does dictate the Hood was underdeveloped (more so come the start of WW2) due to having few if any updates. The others were merely pointing out facts but you are defending the Hood as though it was your first born. You have your views and others have theirs, best leave it there shall we?
