Hello, Dominico's reply above probably sums up the randomness of events, in this case firing large calibre guns. We do not have effects in game currently (weather/sea/wind conditions) that would have affected shell firing so RNG is put in to alter dispersion every salvo. Having read Norman Friedman's Naval Firepower and the section dealing with propellants, guns and shells the amount of factors (even engine vibration) that affected the accuracy was pretty astounding. Accuracy, and being skilled enough to be accurate for the majority of the time is one part of the equation, but the dispersion always plays its part no matter your accuracy making you feel sometimes that you are not actually accurate. Frustrating? Absolutely. But, it (RNG) is the same for all, the one defining aspect is the skill to be accurate often and there are those that are plain inaccurate and not even RNG will make them hit more than they should.

Misinterpreted the post as it was so poorly written. @OP - So, what you are trying to say is, you formed a division with a friend with 2 ships other than CV's and you received the message saying too many CV's? More information would have been helpful, what ship types/tiers were selected when you received this message.

Hello Paul, I am firstly glad you like the game but I need you to fully understand what PvE is all about. 8 human players from varying tiers get opposed by the exact opposite but captained by AI, not other 'real players', you need to play on PvP to play against flesh and blood. If 6 players who have joined the PvE queue with Tirpitz's they will be opposed by another 6 Tirpitz's sailed by AI captains. Simples. If there is something that you have failed to understand about what I have just commented on feel free to contact me to clarify.

As you have NEVER played one PvP battle you may find the Tirpitz dispersion a little different..........

Not a bug, only 1 CV per division.

Generally the main population of the forums are good upstanding individuals, then you get the gatecrashers to spoil the party.......

After today's battles I disagree, 50% of the players are to blame for just plain ignoring what is in front of them. Ok, my torpedoes have a 5km range, never mind that I am 10 km away from the nearest target and I am sure they will dodge that friendly battleship in front of me and kill all the enemies...... No, most learn from what is in front of them, the others plain ignore everything and will never learn. Anyway, by 6 o'clock they will all be sent to bed.............

Really, trying to make an excuse for someone else's accurate fire by researching cheats? Please upload the replay of the battle that caused you to vent your spleen on the forums and I am sure we can scrutinise the replay as to where it all went wrong for you.

You failed to read my tome. I was aggressive, it was the enemy team that were passive so with your words, yes they deserved (not to win) to lose, thank you for backing my stance. PS. I have just come out of a battle fighting for a draw, this will be hated by some and loved by others who like the fighting spirit of one and not the cowardly nature of the masses. My team was decimated by the enemy team, why? The enemy team all but a few, camped around their own cap whilst the majority of my team did the 'lemming train' around one flank, this included the 2 CV's that I was initially supporting with AA. Of course as the battle evolved my team were killed one by one as they appeared in front of the enemy, I was now engaging 'scouts' from the enemy coming in to our cap with which I despatched. The enemy team were still over their own side of the map until the last 5 minutes when they finally woke up realising there was still 1 enemy (me) left not coming to them. Action started first, with their 2 CV's sending everything at me, and slowly, (and now I am talking less than 2 minutes on the clock) a Fuso appeared but by now my determination not to lose became stronger than ever because I deserved more than a loss due to the enemies reluctance to go for the win and my aggressiveness in protecting the result I deserved. Yes, I was certainly in no position to win, but on the flip side the enemy team certainly did not deserve to win through their reluctance not to pursue a win earlier (they would have easily overwhelmed me if they came en masse). I will leave my battle results to show why for one, a draw sometimes is definitely the best result, and two, how to overwhelm a team yet not back it up by completing the necessary tasks to win. I rest my case.

Hi saidor, like you I have free XP to burn but unlike you I have been fortunate with the Pepsi, same hit ratio of 27% but in 33 battles have won 20 (well the team I was in at the time won!), 38 warships destroyed etc. Also like you played the NO previously but for me it was since Alpha days and all she is, is a Pepsi with less firepower (1 less barrel) and only 1100 extra HP (on the upgraded hull). For me I will skip the NO rather than the Pepsi but who knows!

Every battle a loss in my tier 5 BB's. Thought it was my aim and tried in PvE and immediately got a 40k hit on a Kongo with my Kongo. We were meant to lose........

[edit] I found a stats site and found the Minekaze at @ 54.35% with only the Umikaze above it (albeit with less battles played with it). So, the Minekaze seems to be better than average then. [/edit] On another note you say the Minekaze is not OP, but is that not relative to your/our own experiences? For instance I am far from a good DD player (poor sums it up) but the Minekaze to date is my best performing DD. I have only recently got to tier 6 and to put things into perspective the Mutsuki is my worst performing DD. You though have achieved a 70% winrate with the Minekaze, better on average than any other DD and I see you have opted not to get the Mutsuki? I suggest sailing the Mutsuki for a few battles and then objectively report how you feel about the Minekaze compared to any other. Regarding your last remark, it is far from sinful to keep/play your favoured ships/tiers often but unless you try any other ship/tier you cannot make a judgement on anything you have not tried. Unbalanced at higher tiers? Say that to current Myogi, Kawachi or Furutaka captains for instance at lower tiers, I am sure they will all ask for much needed buffs! Enjoy your Minekaze but keep your mind open to try other things.

Hello mteden, Unsure of your full PC specs so a dxdiag report would be helpful here. How to acquire your dxdiag report. Other than that, have you tried different dated graphic drivers? Reason being I can give you a personal experience that I have solved (albeit with an Nvidia card). I was suffering really bad lag with fps going from 1-2 back up to around 70 so you can imagine how jerky it was but yesterday the drivers were updated and magically my (graphical) lag has gone! This of course will only help with the fps but hopefully if resolved may help smooth the game out for you. Ducat

I empathise with you but unfortunately tier 7 falls into the 3 tier spread. 7/8, 8/9, 9/10. Had too many of them to care to mention now (apart from premium tier 8's I am still grinding at tier 7).
