Hi zen, I spend a lot of time there testing as for one, it has less impact on other players and two, it is almost stress free. I actually got fed up grinding my New York and Kongo and finished off the last few thousand XP needed for the next tiers! Yes, earning is less but it is great for trying out different things.

Could not have said it better. The New Orleans can't really call itself a class above the Pensacola as it has hardly any more HP and has slightly weaker firepower than the Pensacola. But, as Darky has so eloquently said, do not ever go solo unless you have a certain kill or objective to attain.

I know it can be hard but it is best to try to ignore your win rate. After coming out of the initial 'training' I had the worst streak possible and was at around 40%, now just above 50 something percent I am reasonably happy as some teams I am in, you have to wonder if they have the same desire to do as well as yourself! Just plod on and learn as you go.

It appears that YOU do not understand naval gunnery, shells and armour. PS. Sorry for the wall of text but there are parts that others may be interested in, more so the part that describes dispersion.

@OP - Would have been helpful also to know what the player count was at that time of night, that would be the telling point.

Hello Dirty (that really does not sound right!), If you cared to search for whine, apart from wonderful vineyards in France you will see some threads in this forum get a few hits as well. What happens here in WoWs is when some much needed balancing gets done some of the captains of such ships (only those that love to dominate) will post here venting their fury. We are neither childish nor sarcastic (ok, a little bit...) but when the same argument (submitted by defenders of their favoured ships) gets posted as a new thread it does become tiresome. I have a friend who has probably one of the highest battle counts here in WoWs and sails all countries and and all classes and for me he is one of the most trusted people I can get views from (thanks Bro!). Yes, the balance has changed but he says for the better (and he knows as his earnings from the IJN have fallen) making the class more equal than superior. We all recognise superior ships very quickly and tend to sail them more often than not, why? because we know we will earn more sailing them. I will leave you arguing amongst yourselves as I, not being a CV captain cannot give a balanced and biased view of the changes. Bon Voyage. Ducat.

Um, you want to nerf DD's? you for real? I am no DD captain although I am at tier 6 and I can tell you they need some serious love from tier 6 upwards, not the reverse!

Well, if it as German captain you want yes, it has to be the Tirpitz but for the best credit earner on a pound for pound basis is the Murmansk. The Atago? Well yes, that too earns well but the flip side to it is the extra credits needed to repair and resupply.

Buy a brain to replace the cabbage that is currently in its place....... I was suffering really bad graphical lag yesterday evening whilst in a division with friends. My FPS was going from 1 FPS up to 70 FPS with a freeze of 1 second every time, also with this I was getting a lot of flickering as you describe. This was not a connection issue as this issue righted it self later but I will be monitoring it more today on OBT as well as during further testing.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. The main concern is that when a mismatched (more than 2 tiers apart) division appears in your team is does put you at a severe disadvantage immediately. The reason being the MM only looks at the highest tiered ship and matches the division accordingly. I am hopeful they do address this in PvP, as for PvE let the players do what they wish.

L2r - Learn to read. It was a well written post remarking on a little disappointment and not as in your words - "so it sux post". If you cannot be constructive with your posts - don't bother writing them (worst still in txt!). @OP - Only sailed her once yesterday (stopped as soon as I got the Aoba) and I realise I am the useless one! Yes, she is the 'black sheep' of the IJN CA line but knowing her predecessor and successor are good ships it is worth the grind.

This has escalated quite fast but this question has been asked and answered many times in the past. One very quick search came with this quote from Evin: Response from Evin I came to Wargamings front door a lot later than most of you here, finding WoWp late in 2013 (I prefer aircraft over tanks) and remember then that accounts were not unified with WoT until a fair time after release (I cannot recall how long). No matter all the talk about unification I was not expecting ANY unification until well after full release so when they did unify premium time that was a plus. Of course, like many here I have a heap of free XP and credits, (in my case lying in my hanger at WoWp) but I never really expected that to be unified as the way XP and credits are earned are so different between the 2 games in my example. Bottom line is, yes I would love it all to be unified but all I am expecting to be unified after premium time is gold as that is what every player has paid hard earned cash for, let us pray!

Unfortunately there are those out there who revel in baiting and firing on allies, I know I was sunk 2 battles in a row because some upstarts did not like me asking them to shoot other members of my team. I just hope you have learnt from this episode.......

It was limited testing relatively speaking and in that time the choices (that Tuccy was referring to) were the most popular with those that tested Ranked battles. I am a cruiser captain by preference but I am sure that those more dedicated CV and BB captains will be able to make their mark in this battle mode.

Well at least I have the modified camera view still working, that was more important for me.

Well, with a week off I was looking forward to the new patch bringing Ranked Battles. Cup of coffee at hand sat down and updated......... Coffee consumed let's enter the game........ loads port...........Ok, select Myoko........ Right select Ranked Battles...... WHAT!!!! Unavailable for 14 days! Not particularly happy here as that was my main point of interest with this patch. sigh.......off to make another cup of coffee........

Myoko/Pensacola for me. In testing both in ST and on the PT I found those to be my best performers but once I have got my tier 6 BB's upgraded may give them a go too.
