I use this as it enables more decent communication to be made when you want to refer to different ships in each class. Initially I was concerned (albeit a long time ago now) but it is simple and you can choose either 1 or as many mods as it will allow you to install.

I think maybe you should have entitled your thread with - "WG does not reward DD players for good gameplay? The classes do work as intended but as KptStrzyga has so well described you should only get rewarded from what you put into the battle. Many changes (nerfs/buffs) will happen as time progresses to try to get to a balance most would be happy with. I am just starting to play tier 6 DD's (not very well I might add) but you can earn very well indeed, last night in my Mutsuki, 2 kills (Cleveland & Atlanta) and reaped 300k credits and 5k in XP (yes it was 1.5). It is all about damage when it comes to rewards but yes, it would be nice to see a little more for actively aiding the but not doing a great deal of damage. It is hard no doubt to try to judge those that are just plain hopeless spamming torpedoes and those that are actively being stealthy reclaiming valuable cap points for their team. Who knows, maybe there will be better rewards for this type of battle behaviour (read AA support for BB's and CV's alike) in the future? Regarding your story of a battle, whilst you obviously did a good job and from your description were able to 'win the day' for your team it would have been good to see screenshots of the end game statistics to gauge how everyone else in that team performed too.

Lets hope they will be giving away some new keyboards as well...........

Quite an interesting thread. Although I have tested many ships, I am a sailor of many but a master of none so bow to players who specialise and favour a particular class and line. I have only recently got to tier 6 with both the New Mexico and Fuso (the NM was first) and have to say I am having a little more success than the previous tiered ships. I have achieved nothing special as yet in the Fuso yet (more of an active participant rather than instigant), but in a battle last night with friends cursed RNG after watching an accurate full salvo fired at a Colorado and then seeing the shells fall like wedding confetti all around the ship and not on it. Then, next full salvo, 2 shells hit causing 25k damage, my curses to the RNG gods were heard! But, although only a few battles in with her the Fuso (and the New Mexico) for that fact) are making me enjoy the BB class a lot more.

What is rewarding is your posting about this players unselfish action in supporting you, but as already posted it could be abused by someone wanting easy protection themselves. It is a bit of a double edged sword when it comes to supporting other players in such a fashion (I always support or offer it to ally CV's and BB's alike if I have a good AA ship.).

I thought I best to read the entire thread first before responding. Often, whine/rant threads started by an OP, they are more often than not triggered by some personal poor experiences. The game itself is ready for release, it is the balance that needs tweaking (some areas a lot, some areas not so much) to create a more level playing field. Yes, there are 'bugs' but any software developer will tell you due to the ever evolving nature of a program (this game in this instance) new bugs often emerge (Windows anybody?) and even AAA games are often patched after release. Years in the making? Well I for one have been fortunate to have been involved since Alpha (I was invited last October) where much of the game was still in a very raw state indeed so here we are now less than a year later and the differences are remarkable. I want to finish off by saying, that I am no apologist and hold some personal concerns about the game myself, but what I will be and that is to be a little patient.

I had my very first battle in my new Mahan at the weekend and was glad that Trigger_Happy_Dad was on my team. He did a sterling job in chat advising our team what to do but unfortunately half the team were as passive and mobile as a sloth. Thankfully there were enough of us to be as aggressive as possible to take the battle to the enemy and those that put the effort in really did well, I was just plain sneaky taking caps away from the enemy and taking down a couple of enemies along the way. Bottom line is, always be aware! Anyway, thanks THD for doing your best.

Ah, the stronk tier 10 division! Would be interesting to know what time of day and how many were online? Only recently got my regular tier 8's (I discount the Tirpitz and Atago) and have already felt the power of the tier 10 ships. But, when more get to tier 10 they certainly will not have it as easy so they better make hay whilst it is still shining for them!

I am no CV player (read so damned awful am too ashamed to use them!) but this is a great way to inform new CV players how best to utilise the ship and its aircraft. maybe get it pinned in the Newcomers Section alongside Sharana's CV guide? Would be good the get tutorials in game (as per they do with WoT and WoWp) for any new players.

I think you are a little lost here. You were always selecting PvE, the point you are making is that when there are not enough players to fill the ally team, the server will fill remaining slots with bots after the 1 and a half minutes waiting time has elapsed.

Yes, the OP has a point, but the given example was a little poor as the best way to display the concern that at tier 10 CV's overpower BB's would have been to show the video from the BB's perspective as well. I am now too far away to offer judgement on balance at the upper tiers but I am surprised at how this 'debate' has escalated in a day!

I would put money on the Montana's AA being already depleted by the current shell fire it was currently receiving prior to the torpedo and bomb attacks. To be perfectly blunt I have seen many more 'balanced' CV videos rather than this video shot by the OP, which is just about waving his prowess in front of his small following, his choice I guess.........

Hello cryonicangel, MM is created to cater for the playerbase to enable you to get into battles in a reasonable amount of time. Once the said playerbase increases and more players are available at each tier it will give the developers a chance to 'relax' the MM to a plus 1 or 2 tiers.

That was what I meant, using the rudder to evade. Once under attack, they will focus on you calling all others in range to attack you as well so evasion is the word. And yes, they are reasonably accurate still so for casual players trying to get an 'easy fix' may come unstuck.

No BB fire here, move on....... And don't forget those images of Pearl Harbour after the Japanese had bombed and torpedoed those BB's in dock.

Oh but it does! AI accuracy is a lot better than a lot of players here so you soon learn to start to evade, something quite a few players need to learn! That aside I agree with zen_monks response, once you have learned to shoot and evade you will do well in PvP!

As you have tried the obvious (different drivers) there is only one thing I can think of and that your graphics card is the issue but you say you ran 3DMark, but for how long? I have ran this game on many different systems and none have displayed what you describe so I would look at your rig and not the game. Did you run the game in windowed mode to test?
