@Ewokgod - I am not one to say how BB captains in general do or should play but if I am remotely aware of a DD or DD's in my vicinity whilst in a BB (currently @ T6) I always switch to HE and remain fully alert for them. As your opposition did as you described in your OP I will get as many turrets as possible to bring to bear upon the DD and let them have it, only RNG will save a DD in that situation. With HE you at least have the blast damage as well as splash damage that will wreck a DD. Yes, RNG did favour your Fuso enemy captain and unfortunately you paid the price.

I would say you are the one missing something here, apart from being rude you are pointing out your team around you, a division is a personally selected group of up to 3 players within a team. Try being a little more constructive in future, it does help, really. I play in divisions with friends now and then, why? Because I know together we can do a lot more than if going solo because you really cannot rely on your team to play as efficiently as possible every time. Hot Spot and Straits are good examples of poor spawn point lay outs and that is what the OP was initially talking about. A good example is if I division with a friend and he chooses a CV I will always select an AA strong ship to aid in protecting him. Spawning separately really does not help as more often than not he will not get protection when needed. That is the long and short of it.

Guys, this is all getting a little personal, We all have opinions about the map borders and to be frank, this subject has been thrashed out so much everyone is turning red. Whether the developers are actively working on a better/alternate solution that is currently in place, we will not know until something is said. For me, if only they implemented the system that is currently in place in WoWp (auto-turn back into battle) this would placate a massive majority, until then please be a little more acceptable about peoples personal opinions, that is all they are, personal opinions.

It is WG's label for teamkillers. Those that cause enough damage to allied ships triggers an automated process and turns your ship pink. They have to 'behave' themselves for sometime after before the pink skin gets removed.

Hello GOD (that sounds so wrong in this context!), the issue is knowing your audience, that is where you failed. You may well have a group of friends who know you well and accept your way of introducing yourself. Ok, lets try an analogy, if you feel brave enough, walk into a Hells Angel pub and shout 'Hello Noobies', you will accept the welcome from them may not be very warm so with this in mind when going into battle just be plain polite, it costs nothing, not even a chat ban. Sure, as the mood warms and banter gets going I am sure most will accept the nature of your in game conversation is good natured but still, you have to know them well enough to start throwing words around that are deemed insulting. This is nothing to do with the mod. All the mod does is to enable you access to the Training Rooms, any other issue will be with the game itself. As I am still at work am unable to test but will do on my return home.

Hello hopfolk, Firstly, insulting other players will not get them to listen to you with empathy and will only bring on hostile responses. Back to your point of contention. Your point is your handling DD's and their only viable weapon of attack and defence, yes? Well firstly you appear not to be observant enough allowing a DD to come close enough to attack you (you have sank in 60% of your battles) so firstly keep your eyes open and do not sail with 'tunnel vision'. If fearing a DD is near load HE and start manoeuvring making yourself as hard to hit as possible. But, and this is what I am failing to understand about your rant, is that amongst the classes you have sailed in DD's are your most successful line so really you should be teaching yourself what to do!

Well, I am not the best person to advise you as I am barely average with BB's. I got my New Mexico not long ago and my fortune seems to be the opposite of yours! Only 16 battles and not one turret lost. All I can say is because it is not the fastest out there I tend to follow the team and pick off the stragglers and never leave myself as a lone target (AA is questionable so try to follow any ships with ok AA). I think you have had bad luck as you are above average and a better BB captain than I am. Just don't go solo!

Same too. I often see late loaders but AFK players are too rare to mention. Anyone who witnesses AFK, and I mean they have been stationary at their spawn points for more time than deemed reasonable, take a screenshot and submit a ticket highlighting your concern about AFK players.

As you have written then it appears you initially installed the NA client and with the second installation you installed the EU client. Firstly you cannot transfer progress from one client to another. As it stands you have only played 397 battles in Co-op on the NA server so have not gained too much, I suggest to carry on with the EU client as you will soon get that many battles under your belt here. One final suggestion, you can play on the NA server with the same client but that will mean editing a game file if you are comfortable doing that. To do so, locate the scripts_config.xml located in - Games\World_of_Warships\res Edit the file with notepad and enter the line as highlighted below under the EU entry and save. (make a copy of the file first if you are unsure) This will give you the ability to choose either the NA or EU server to play on, hope this helps.

Insulting someone personally is NOT the way to go. Try being constructive with your argument and address it to the company and not the individual who in this case is being a messenger as well as an ambassador for his company. I was initially not happy with the way things panned out but I sure as hell was not offensive in putting my views across. Maybe one day you will learn how to be polite........

Believe me I was disappointed too, I thought the silence was there to build hope for some surprise, I guess they got it right then as I was surprised that the great release was a bit of a damp squib. But, as that is now past us, if indeed there is going to be something released in the near future, I as a clever marketing person would leave snippets of information to say be patient as something great is going to happen. No timescale, just enough information to make you think, suggest, want whatever is going to happen. Those of us who are parents (and this is relevant to those that remember their parents doing likewise!) may have in the past promised their children something special. They never said what or when but those children were then excited, expectant and behaved in a very positive way. If only WG had thought a bit more about how they could keep their player base on their toes in expectancy of something great? An opportunity missed? Oh yes, have they learned from this? Only they can answer this. A tough time for their Community staff..........

I agree, rather a good idea. We all know particular ships have decent AA/secondaries and going from there, if we had some sort of 'HP bar' to show the relative health of our ship in regards of AA and secondaries, it would aid in knowing how we would behave in the face of aircraft attack. Seeing a blackened ship is not really a factor as guns could possibly survive attacks so we are left to presume that AA and secondaries are next to useless, so yes, a good suggestion.

As previously posted, unfortunately the 'window lickers' have arrived..... I was well and truly targeted by by a poor soul who I sent to the bottom who mentioned gypsy, my aunt, what I ought to do with myself with an appendage and more.... problem is I laughed so much I could not respond quickly enough to say thank you.... But, that aside the mode does have its upside and that is those that want to work together and of the 3 battles I have yesterday in Ranked battles in two of them there was a lot of active suggestions and agreement in chat. Rocky start but I am sure that the core who play them will be decent, we will sink the rest

Hi, I will be posting 'blank gifs' in the Fan Zone for personal use later (am currrently at work), and as I did with the original I will be uploading the movie to YouTube as a 'dramatised' edit too.

I did watch around 10 minutes of Quickbaby's stream but unfortunately watching someone else and listening to them is not my personal preference so left it there. But, as Trigger has so rightly said, why oh why do amateurs and fans of the game create more content and put in more effort than the producers? My first act after downloading the update was to extract the intro movie and convert and split to separate files in readiness to create signatures, why? Because I want to do something that others may want or like and that along with all other streamers and content providers alike seems to be more than we have seen from the developers themselves. Never has a saying been more apt for the release of this game.......
