For an early Christmas present, as you are a DD fan why not go for the Fujin? I bought her and although I am barely average and it was a loss I earned 330.000 credits for my first battle in her. You will get a lot of advice so it is best to settle for Premium Time plus a premium ship that mirrors you preferred class of ship.

I applaud you doing the search for this thread but we would have forgiven you for starting a new one 3 months after the original! Best way forward is to know all of your technical details, dxdiag report for your PC, your ISP and what make/model modem/router etc.

I was speaking for myself as per my post, I certainly did not say this was the case overall. The way you describe it is that no matter what, there are some that cry, 'hack', cheat' or whatever because they were sore at being sunk especially that player you describe. I am sure his mum will be proud of how he conducts himself whilst holed up in his bedroom!

What is concerning, is that the devs do not rely on feedback but purely on data accrued from the ships in game. You are correct, as much as I love cruisers and was looking forward to this new line after experiencing them in testing I was mostly disappointed. Hopefully the data received from current Yorck (and other cruisers), will lead to some improvements (sooner the better). I am putting the Germans on hold now and will focus on the IJN and the USN lines instead.

Having ground to the Nurnberg yesterday and purchasing her, I will say I am disappointed. Although my winrate in the Konigsberg was not good my average damage was very good with one battle getting over 100,000 damage. Yesterday was not a good day for me overall so clouds my general performance but in the 4 battles I had I knew straight away she is a poor second to the Konigsberg which I would never sell due to the fun times I had in her win or lose. Summary. Wait until they buff the German cruisers (read tier 4 as well as 6 and 7) before buying higher than the Konigsberg.

Hello bug, Trying not to be insensitive, but your posts do appear to make you 'anti' premium whether it be time or ship. You have to 'suck it up' as it is those that do pay for time or content actually allow you to play the game for free. Sure, there are those with more money than sense (read skill), that purchase high tier ships and then go on to play poorly, but they are subsidising you. Also, it is not good to post when full of anger, as you can see here, it certainly does not get other players to feel any sympathy for you. Regards, Ducat

On the other hand - Japanese plane torpedoes go twice as far. Looks like they do not know what to do with them? Plus points. Izyaslav is more manoeuvrable. Derzky has a maneuveraiblity increase, and Kiev has an AA change. Karlsruhe's arc is slightly adjusted (lower/higher?) and her shell Krupp value has an increase of 500-ish. Nikolai I is 10% faster (not available to us yet but I will say this will make from a reasonable ship to a good ship) Atago's rudder shift has been reduced to 10 seconds. (will help those new players from hitting so many islands )

Try not to be clever as you are not, I was responding to a criticism that you made regarding Supertesters and the release of the Yorck. As I have said, and I will say again, we as Supertesters (that does not include you as you did not partake in any debate about the Yorcks weaknesses) were in full agreement as to how poor it was in its class. There is a thread where you can apply sir. Putting the debate back on rails, when tested (and it has not changed since) the first thing we noted was the extremely poor turret rotation which for a cruiser was a major flaw. Also the 210's were seriously lacking punch and when looking at the ships statistics overall made it appear as though it belonged at tier 5 more than tier 7. To date on the live server, I have only just got to the Nurnberg, which is middling for me as it offers very little over the Konigsberg. I am dreading actually getting to the Yorck, as I know as it stands currently, it may be as bad an experience as the Karlsruhe.

What would you know what Supertesters say or do? You are never there. From all the conversations I have had with regular Supertesters AND reading all the feedback certainly does not mirror your fantasy vision. I slated it as with many other fellow Supertesters and many others from other communities felt the same. So, please do not point your finger at us, you should know that we do not make final decisions.

Believe me, if you stick to the border you will be a very easy target. Bottom line is, will it suit all the regular players? We will not find out until it gets implemented in the big patch.

Believe me it is the same for all of us here who are regular forum goers. I would team up with a majority of the regulars here as in a nutshell, they understand the game much better (sorry Archeron I am not including you here). There are some good clans that frequent WoWs now so I suggest joining one of those as many chat on TS and the like and that makes the game enjoyment many times better.

Well, the up side is that it will be a great for grinding IJN DD captains.

I know I am not the most prolific captain but I really cannot recall when the last cry went up from an enemy (or ally captain for that) to shout 'cheat', hacker' or whatever. I never normally discuss what I test prior to official release, (for obvious reasons) but as this is still quite a sensitive subject between quite a few of our fellow captains I will say something. I have tested the latest attempt (mentioned here in the devs bulletin) to combat 'misuse' of the map border and I can back up Admiral_noodles statement. It does work in as much when you initially hit the border you still have your speed but the longer you stay on the border it reduces gradually until you are moving at just a few knots. This I feel is not too bad as when you accidentally hit the border and affect a manoeuvre away from it immediately, you lose little speed. But the longer you 'surf the blue line', your speed reduces enough to put you in difficulty if pursued by an enemy ship. I hope that satisfies those that are still concerned or are curious.

In the right hands the Konigsberg can be a gem of a ship (and I am only average), as long as you are aware of her limitations and shortfalls you will do well in her, oh I love its AP!

No, I stated that you have a Warspite, it was another poster that said you had a Tirpitz. Is that not relevant enough for you? Wow, missed that one, makes it a lot worse then! problem having high tier premiums up for sale for anybody with a wallet and no experience.

(edited for clarity) For someone with little experience you really are not the right person to advise new players what they should or should not do, especially regarding BB's. You obviously rushed into buying the Warspite, a premium BB at tier 6 when in fact you really should have limited yourself initially (if you really had to buy a premium BB) to the Ishizuchi at tier 4. There is more than enough good advice out there regarding BB's from very good BB captains, I suggest reading some of that instead of raging.

I have had mixed results in the Konigsberg with a so-so winrate (36% 4/11). But, on the other hand my average damage on it has even surprised me currently at over 50k so at least I am earning good XP. As for the Karlsruhe it is, in my humble opinion, the worst ship that has been passed as fit to use from the devs. The first 3 tiers were on the other hand reasonably fun to play with middling results.

It is not, it is only 60x for the first win and then 40x (purely for advanced progress you know!) But, the OP has a valid point. We do seem to be the less fed of the trio of games so it would be good to hear from someone as to why we still are only give 1.5.
