You already started a new thread regarding this quote. The problem is with complainants, is that they are quick to respond when something happens to them that they do not like, but never respond when they do likewise to others. Karma comes to mind.

Two things needs to be removed from the game

No offence but due to the low calibre guns of CA's you need to use HE for both BB's and DD's. Only reserve AP when you have a CA's broadside staring at you.

WG are you trying to sink your own game?
OldGrandad replied to anonym_T3XTXn9riZRR's topic in General Discussion
Thank you, thank you. You have brightened my otherwise dull weekend, have not laughed as much in eons. But, back to being serious, you should never post after getting wrecked on Vodka and Red Bull as it really does screw up your spelling and grammar. By the way, looks better when entered into the Drunk Post Translator; -

Oh WOW Damn this is a paytoplay Game
OldGrandad replied to SeTorpilaroToOra's topic in General Discussion
Why make an idle threat that, because you are failing, you are going to get fellow players to quit too? Back to your gripe, it is plain that you are not doing enough in your battles. Whilst you may have one very good battle, having 10 poor games will drag down your average earnings. On top of the new threads started with complaints, have you noted how many are started by the OP and never to be returned to? -
As it happens equally to others, and as much as I hate it happening to me, I accept it as part of the game. Historically, detonation was relatively widespread with quite a few warships experiencing self detonation (certainly do not want that to be introduced!).
-
Over 80% of your battle are in DD's which are more prone to detonation due to their limited size. Why complain as you have as much chance to detonate another ship as they have with you?

Why can Yamato guarantee damage of 5k-15k each salvo on stern/bow

This. As much as I am playing more DD than BB, as much as I curse those damned planes, what is obviously missing is CV's at tier 10. That would answer the OP's concern as well as stopping the DD madness at those higher 2 tiers. For instance, went out in my Udaloy with a friend in his Kajero last night and there were 7 DD's on each team. As you can imagine the BB's took no part as it was torp spam. Cv's would bring balance again in this instance. Apologies for diverting from the original whine concern. -
Only a handful of battles in her and I concur. If I am fortunate in reaching rank 10 I would not have a problem in facing tier 8's in battle at all.

For Picasso money I would want a Picasso......

Proposal: Simple and elegant solution for better fairness in "Ranked Battles"...
OldGrandad replied to Leo_Apollo11's topic in General Discussion
It is a great idea and has been mooted previously as like the OP, why punish players that have over compensated due to their own teams lack of effort. This is the main reason I hardly play ranked, it is more lottery than skill to rise through the ranks. Without being a little egotistical, I have never been lower than 3rd in a winning team and always been top on a losing team, that is more than frustrating. I would say that the only reason I would consider to pursue gaining ranks are the flags and not the damn pirate flag! Plus 1 to the OP for being constructive. -
Time is relevant when it comes to searching for subjects that may have changed significantly over time (more so with changes to ships). A 9 month old thread can be considered dormant (would be a good idea to have old threads of a certain age locked) so in a case like this a new thread would not be frowned upon.

A friend has a five rank captain but as I am at work now cannot confirm that cost. From memory, level 5 was high but they put in the 9,999,999 price on the next point almost knowing you would never attain it.

Creating something out of nothing seems to be your forte now............... oh, and calling people names, sad.

I cannot see what the problem is by using a good credit grinder to pay for modules on another ship? I for one am not daft enough to grind the same ship for credits if I know my credit earning potential is not going to be as good as on my best credit grinder. XP of course is different but if I have unlocked a module I raid the bank to pay for it. I love the chance of going back to a another ship to earn, it also stops the stagnation of grinding relentlessly with just the one objective. Spice is the variety..... Ah, you replied after I posted. I do not consider being at tier 5 to be seal clubbing at all, with the quality of a lot of players you can do that equally well at the higher tiers. I am just starting in Ranked, I have to sail a tier 5 or 6 ship no matter my skill, but we really can't call that seal clubbing, can we?
-
Well done, I think was a combination on you being very good, the rest of your team not so and a reasonable enemy team. In a nutshell, you beat the enemy.

Again, someone throwing the blanket over many because they cannot name. I for one am nobodies lackey, I cater for myself only. You have a chip on your shoulder that could possibly win an award in the 2016 National Fish & Chip Awards Ceremony. As for playing outside of testing, I certainly put in enough for the limited time I have to play and that makes me, as a player, equal to you to be as critical or praiseworthy as I like. Try paying attention to your own personal views and those of others and not to a team as a whole. Strangely enough, I have already raised my concern about bundles (as this is what this thread is about now), and support the many that want vanilla options to the bundles currently on offer. If you have a beef with me, come into my office instead of posting in the forum, the door is always open.

Thread was started April 30th and raised again Sept 26th and again 7th December. We do state it is best to search but not from beyond the grave. As it was a ship orientated thread, many changes have been made to the ship and the game that may have made the original OPS statement null and void. In this case it would be fine to start a new thread as the old one would have been long forgotten. Try being a little reasonable before whining about whiners.

This, I know the colours are Christmassy but why did WG go Scrooge and charge so much over the holidays?

You need to do something about the hacks!
OldGrandad replied to CSM_Waldrip's topic in General Discussion
I agree. I bought it thinking even with my experience it would be ok.....wrong! Yup, the OP certainly did himself no favours buying it so early on. -
You know, you are right, it is not a DD but a cruiser that is as weak as hell, burns like tissue and gets broken more often than glass. The Kiev is just ok, heaven help you when you get a good player in a Tashkent up against you........... I should have expected a response like that from you, a pretty decent player in your favoured ships, but as soon as you get a problem ship that may just cramp your style, you shout nerf them. Try getting out in DD's before actually crying about them, it is pitiful to read.

For just a moment I thought you were having a dig at newspaper reporters....... But, out of curiosity browsed your profile to try to understand as to why you never knew CV's actually have guns on board...... Very limited in all aspects. Having a survival rate of 4% leads me to believe you go in 'all guns blazing'. Watch a few tutorial videos, you may just learn something...... -
A good example of thread necromancy if ever I have seen. Anyway, not too long ago got the Nagato and it is doing just fine for me. Just so accurate compared to my old Lolorado!

Ok, taking my hat off and replying as a player. Try being personal and name who you are trying to reply to instead of throwing the 'Supertester' blanket out, as you are catching many who work hard for the community, a community you try to fragment by being offensive. I know some Liverpudlians and thankfully they are the complete opposite of you, sheesh.
