Why is everyone complaining? The biggest griefers are on the forums.

Was thinking more along the lines of suck you in and blow you out........... -
Once module/ships are researched with XP you can then use your credits to purchase said ships and modules. Camo and consumables can also be bought with credits. Hope that helps.

Teamkillers - to team kill or not to kill?(or maybe go afk)
OldGrandad replied to Pekoe_Darjeeling's topic in General Discussion
Yes you are right, it sucks that a perpetrator can always come out smelling of roses whilst the innocent get covered in dung. Intelligent sarcasm will always win, it baffles the hell out of moronic team killers who have no idea how to respond (in chat anyway!). -
He did say in his reply below. I think it is a great idea, adds some fun to the Christmas holiday (for those that are likely/lucky to have decent time off!)

It is not about effect on your ship but the current sound file they use when you receive a massive hit. I would much rather have a loud explosion sound rather than the sound of tinnitus. If it could be turned off I would have done it yesterday........

Hide stats, great will stop me worrying about how rubbish I am sometimes... Weather? Well being A Brit am well used to it raining and blowing a gale so looking forward to it! -
Hello, as you play in Co-op, it is easy to kill all enemy bots so there really is no need to cap. Sure, it still is part of the game but a majority of players would prefer to eliminate the entire enemy team if possible rather than cap. Unless you have a very hard to find last bot, capping in Co-op is not as much as a priority as in PvP, and in all honesty XP gains for capping in Co-op must be tiny. Help your team out by seeking out and killing all the enemy ships, this does not excuse players firing on you but at least you may have the opportunity to gain a little more XP in killing instead of capping.

You have posted this twice now, once in the Newcomers section where I replied. To date you have only sunk 4 ships in one battle in - Kolberg, St.Louis and Clemson. At lower tiers rewards are exponentially lower, higher tiers the rewards start to build quicker. As long as your skill and success matches your progress you will do well. With Premium and successful battles with the first win multiplier I managed to grind a tier 8 DD to tier 9 in a week. That was exceptional but gives you an idea that it can be done in a reasonable amount of time. Grinding is worth it, you need to play a ship a lot to get the best out of it as they all have their strengths and weaknesses. If you are successful (read dealing damage and capping) in ranked you will earn well in ranked, win or lose. Well, I for one have not heard 'a large majority of the community' want worldwide matchmaking. One reason it would not work (at least not well at all) and that is time zones. I test with all the regions and although we share the same server a lot of the time, and whilst we may be on the server say at 8pm, some in Asia for instance are at 4am (those that stay up!). A hot topic currently, but to answer you how I feel may invoke others wrath so will just say the Premium Shop is what it is at the moment.- 17 replies

2500 XP is actually reasonable return (assuming without Premium) but you need to aim to get that regularly. Your statistics reveal you are not doing a great deal of damage (staple diet for earning credits and XP). I suggest to maybe study videos from more experienced players in order to get tips and hints as how to improve your game. Please do not take this to heart as I was wallowing around 40% after a couple of hundred battles but slowly (probably too slow!) have managed to get a little better. Best wishes for Christmas.

I was one of the fortunate few (if you really call it fortunate!) to test the Citadelovitch and have mixed views on it. Now it is open to all to test I think it is time to air my views. It is not tier 8 material, think of the Atago and she has so much more to offer, more so now she has repair. She burns faster than a thin roll up and if not careful takes big hits badly (hence her nickname). She is definitely a ship for the second line, helping fight ships that get too close to base etc. If it was up to me, I would drag her down to tier 7 and gauge her progress from there.

I know, hence my slow edit!. Bob is my buddy and I know what has gone on with his experiences with TK'ers as I have with him witnessed exactly the same behaviour.

Rog, can't beat a good hoover! Looking at the other threads today I think you need to empty out that hoover bag a few times! [edit] reflected my forum blindness![/edit]

Your team mirrors your chance on a lottery, a flip of a coin, a turn of a card. For instance, your performance in the Kongo is not too far from mine, slightly better in fact. You have done better in the Fuso than me, the only difference was that I won more early on allowing me to research the Nagato a little quicker. So, what is the difference? the teams. I was more fortunate than you hence why I call team selection a bit of a lottery. Don't beat yourself up on win rate, as over the next few hundred battles, you may very well get a massive improvement in your win rate. Best of luck with your battles.

Troublemaker, if I could I would pass over a few thousand credits to you to help with your credit bill. You behaved impeccably, as ignoring a troll often inflames them more than any retort you would/could have given. If he is like that with you I am sure no doubt he is with others so ultimately he will pay the price. -
Am at work so cannot verify currently, but I am sure the 'Xmas' camo I had on my DD had type 1 attributes? (more than likely wrong though!) Imagine if it was only type 2, WG would lose many possible sales of that premium camo through not offering it as a type 1 as well?

Well done (plus 1 from me) for pointing out those that do nothing but rant from soapboxes. Sure, there are problems and issues but they are a minor part in the grand scheme of things. I wish you all the best for Christmas and hope you receive that ship you crave for! -
Big a55 guns, lots of health, repair function and some even have very good captains in them............

From the thread title I thought a BB was in court............

My opinion of ranked battles -

Give into the dark side, it is actually fun! But in all seriousness, it is handy to play the higher tiers to gauge which class/nation you want to concentrate on. I am a recent DD convert (coming from a predominantly CA playing background) and lean towards the gunboats (RU/USN) rather than the stealth ninja's. I now know I do want to go up the USN DD line now after a few battles in tiers 9 and 10. But, it is worth playing any BB just to hear the new sounds, they have so much depth and fullness to them you will be firing guns for the hell of it! And for those that wanted a ships horn in the game, now there is (sort of). In the case of a friendly collision a ships horn sounds, it made me grin anyway (kid at heart!).

OldGrandad replied to Pekoe_Darjeeling's topic in General Discussion
Considering there are only a few of the population that actually post here, and we see quite a few reports of team killing, I would say from that there are more (T/Kers) out there than we imagine. My friend reported a 4x teamkiller in one game yesterday and immediately came across another one in the next battle. But, we have to be careful here, as although we see some players with a minus one, and they are NOT pink, we have to assume stupidity was the cause unless it was witnessed as a deliberate act. But, in saying that, for me personally in my average amount of battles I would say I have witnessed under 10 so far. Still, too many.............. -
Poll about bundles, player spending and the reputation of Wargaming EU.

Jasper, you rather lost the argument with the upper most quote. Erinaceus_europaeus made a rational statement and you responded with the words 'hounds' and fanboys' as he held a different stance to you? Bite? You have been bitten.
