I have got a link to the modified camerasConsumer.xml here. This the Calapine zoom out and not the Mebius one. If you want the Mebius values open the file with Notepad++ and go to line 851 and alter value (50) to 100 and save.

I can confirm that it works now. Have not tried it but an easier way would be to add the lines from the 'ZOOM' copy (912 to 920) to the smoke circle camerasConsumer.xml. Maybe will try later but for now have both the zoom out and smoke circles working.

You are right, in my test instance the camera worked and the rings did not, back to the drawing board.........

Hello Aslain, The smoke boundaries still works with my amended version of Calapines zoom out mod. Thought you better know.

Hi guys, This was why I modified the 'normal' zoom out mod, it works fine. Until it is incorporated in Aslains all you need to do is to drop it into the World_of_Warships\res_mods\0.5.3.0 folder. Link to file in post 1184.

I start the game, get to port and try to close the message saying I have level 11 and game crashes, not such a great patch! (PT worked ok).

All, I seem to have started something out of all innocence. I wanted to put up something humorous after I was accused of using an aim assist in battle. I was not going to, but friends suggested I explain. I was forwarded a couple of files for this and set up my replay of that battle (it did not work as intended but I carried on regardless). I took a couple of screenshots and edited it with a couple of arrows saying shoot here. I uploaded an unedited version before I had to rush out and when I came back I had all sorts of unnecessary accusations thrown at me. Please understand, I do not use nor need any assistance and all I wanted was to add humour. I was shocked at the fallout and those that know me know I am besides myself with this overspill of angst in the forum. I offer my sincere apologies to those that have misread my intention of adding humour to something, that in all effect, is a negative influence here. Regards, Ducat

Yes I can supply the replay which shows how ridiculous the accusation was. I should have come straight out with the explanation, this I know now and because I was very ill overnight did not respond until this afternoon. If you see the replay it is me getting the punishment until the very last shots, that is why I was trying to make light of it. You just do not know how sorry I am, I fully understand the communities stance on the aim assist and back the blocking of it fully so to be accused of using it in the main server is hurtful. PS. Tried to attach replay and I am getting a security error.

To explain clearly. Took 3 screenshots, I added humorous text and graphics to all of them. I was in a rush and uploaded the unfinished originals. I did say I had the mod installed for the replay and took screenshots for that purpose, I was trying to point out how ridiculous it was and added extra arrows and humorous text. It was going to be a fun mickey take that has slapped me in the face. PS I have been extremely ill overnight and not long got up.

This, I certainly am not of the ilk to use this let alone pay for it.

I use the scalable crosshair in Aslains mod pack, as it scales when you draw away I find it a lot easier to use against DD's due to their speed.

1. You are better than the majority of the player base, you know that so why want to know the obvious? 2. Tactics, the team that employ the right tactics are more likely to win. Yes, you may have a poor player so support instead of ignore.You do not need a mod to understand either degrees of understanding or stupidity. 3. Trust your entire team, period. The moment you start to mistrust your team mates you will start to worry about the wrong players in battle. I do not want XVM in game because:-A) a fair chunk of the playerbase are not mature enough to treat it correctly and use it to abuse others. So on balance, I do not want it.

Had an issue yesterday where I was dropped from the server. Had to be one of the 'hops' going down as I was constantly on TS throughout my disconnections. Thankfully it is (so far) the only time I have had total drop outs.

Contribution counts, I do it in spades. As for money, it has nothing to do with a mod that displays how good a player is statistically. By the way, it is free to play, you just chose to pay for what comes extra so don't try that one. I hear more insults from players about other players lack of skill than about the aim mods. Boy, you like putting words into other peoples mouths. I did not say what is better for you, I care not a jot about you and your campaign, I care for what is honestly good for the game and that is why I support the game (and hopefully the community) as much as I do. I am lead to believe that external data mining will be blocked regarding your statistics on the server. Probably means that others will not be able to check your stats via the web page either. This is of course only my theory.

You should help your team XVM or not. Want your cake and eat it comes to mind. If you want XVM, reveal your stats, you can't have it both ways. You perfectly describe why we should NOT have XVM. Excessive focussing on one player upsets the balance of game play. You want XVM but hide your stats so you won't be focussed?? No sir.
